Burger King Canada: XBox360 Game Deal

Burger King XBOX360

Yesterday Burger King’s King Deal was the whopper. It was about two months since the last time I ate at Burger King so I decided to have dinner there. While at BK I noticed they were offering one of three XBox360 games for $4.99 with the purchase of a meal! Too bad I don’t have an XBOX 360, but if you do that’s one sizzling hot deal!

The games are:
- Sneak King
- PocketBike Racer
- Big Bumpin

You can also get all three games for $12.99 with the purchase of a single meal. You also get a free 48-hour XBox Live Gold trial.

More details at BK’s website

Airbus 380, Welcome to Canada!

If you haven’t already heard about this on TV, the new Airbus 380 landed in Vancouver yesterday. This was its first landing in North America so we beat the Americans to that haha!

The Airbus 380 is a gigantic double-deck, four-engined airliner that can carry up to 853 people. This makes this new Airbus the largest passenger airliner in the world! Here is some footage from Global:

Toronto Star Reporter needs info about Wii-related injuries

A Toronto Star reporter left a comment asking for help. He seems to be truthful since his email is an authentic Toronto Star email. If you’re interested in helping him please contact him directly:

Hi, I’m a reporter with the Toronto Star. Really. I’m doing a story on Wii-related injuries or damage to household furniture/appliances. You’ve probably seen the stories, which I’ll drop links to below, but I’m looking for someone in Toronto or surrounding area who has felt sore the next morning after playing the Wii, busted up their hand, knocked over a lamp or a friend, for example. If this is you, and this is open to pretty much anyone in Ontario, though the closer to Toronto the better, can you email me at mchung@thestar.ca? The story is due Thursday so I’d have to hear from you soon.

Foot Locker Canada: Family & Friends Event

Foot Locker CANADA

Now that’s interesting, Foot Locker is having a family and friends event at the same dates as Foot Locker. They both have simillar discounts. Only difference is that Foot Locker calls it a “Family & Friends” event while Champs Sports calls it a “Friends & Family” event.

I think you’ll need an SPC card to make use of this event

The 15 Richest Fictional Characters

Forbes released its annual listing of fiction’s very wealthiest. I’m shocked to find out that Charles Montgomery Burns (the Simpsons) is richer than Scrooge McDuck! For some reason, I always imagined uncle Scrooge as the cartoon world’s “Bill Gates”. I still think uncle Scrooge is classier than that annoying Mr. Burns.

The biggest surprise is that Santa Claus has been unseated from the number-one spot! In fact, he’s been completely removed from the list and Forbes’ reason for Santa’s disappearance is hillarious:

We still estimate Claus’ net worth as infinite, but we excluded him from this year’s rankings after being bombarded by letters from outraged children insisting that Claus is “real.” We don’t claim to have settled the ongoing controversy concerning Claus’ existence, but after taking into account the physical evidence - toys delivered, milk and cookies devoured - we felt it was safer to remove him from consideration.

Here are this year’s 15 richest fictional characters:
