Air Canada is offering $72 One Way fares for a limited time, you need to book by April 8, 2010. These rates do not include taxes, fees, charges and surcharges. This promo is basically to compete with the one Westjet is offering at the same time.

Just an FYI about all AIR CANADA deals. If you are travelling with an infant then when you try and get a promotion you get a message saying promotions are not available when flying with an infant. I find this everytime I use a promotion code with them.

I’ve never used a promotion code when flying with an infant. However, when booking flights through air canada, you just have to let them know when you check in that you have an infant with you (on domestic flights at least). I’ve done this many time when using aeroplan rewards and forgetting to call and tell them i have an infant with me.

If flown ACC with an infant on domestic flights and would never just show up — you’re at the mercy of the airlines doing this.

I just book the adult promo fare, then call ACC to add my infant. Risk reduced; promo secured. We’re all happy.

Windsor Gal is correct — only certain seats on AC, Porter and WJ are allotted to a person traveling with a lap infant (it’s due to the location of the extra air masks, in case of emergency). Needless to say, book online and then call in to add the infant to the travel file.
    Happy Travels!!
