also, i read on amazon from people’s reviews that they don’t offer the same warranties so that’s something to be aware of. Although i love amazon! both .ca and .com
i Just bought an SD1300IS (for my daughter) this week from Black’s (for $129.99)… The Source also has it for $129.99…
PS. Don’t waste your money on the D10. I am a diehard Canon user (own many Canons, including an EOS-5D), but when it came time to buy a waterproof camera, I bought the Panasonic DMC-TS1 (used it under seawater and worked great). Olympus also has great waterproof cameras (if you don’t mind the xD memory card). But the D10 is the absolute worse one (for use under water).
Can anybody vouch for these prices vs. Costco? There’s so many models and specs, I just don’t have the time to sift through it all.
You have the same factory warranty. With most cameras you dont bring back to the store anyways now you deal with the manufacturer. Their nice deals Shannon.
Thanks. I need to pick up a new camera STAT, the shutter on my old one doesn’t open all the way on its own anymore, and it takes forever to take pictures; doesn’t work with speedy kids. I want another Canon so I don’t have to fiddle around learning icons, etc. from another manufacturer.
these canons are garbage. the lenses break all the time. save your money.
I dont agree Ian, lenses dont just spontaneously break.
