Amazon Global: Now more items will ship to Canada!!

Amazon.com has a new section called Amazon Global that will ship tons more stuff to Canada!! Some of the new categories that you can get shipped include: electronics, software, house wares and video games. There doesn’t seem to be a free shipping option and there will be duty charges on most items. They are able to estimate duty and taxation charges at checkout though so it isn’t a huge surprise.

With the Canadian dollar on the rebound this is a great time to check out the deals. And if you have Amazon.com gift cards from swagbucks this is a great opportunity to expand the types of items that are available to you.

After you pay for customs and shipping charges, any “deal” you find will no longer be a deal.

I agree with Khristopher. I ordered a pair of sneakers from Amazon.com last week. Shoes were $24, shipping/handling $24, and Import fees $9.50 for a grand total of $57.50. I was going to cancel the order at that point but I really liked those shoes. Shipping was really quick though. Received the package with 5 days. Free-shipping does not apply to orders outside of U.S.
