At the Worldwide Developers Conference, Apple had a busy day filled with a number of announcements teasing the audience about all the new products and updates they will be adding to their ever growing lineup of tech products.
Two of the bigger announcements that Apple made at the conference included the sharing of details about the upcoming pro-oriented “iMac Pro” and the “HomePod”. The iMac Pro is said by the company to be the most powerful Mac ever created, which isn’t surprising considering some of its specs, like the 27-inch Retina 5K display, the 18-core Xeon processors or the 22 Teraflops of graphics computation.
The Homepod is designed to be in direct competition with Amazon’s Echo, and will provide similar services like the ones a Siri-powered speaker performs on your phone – but instead it’ll be in your home.
