DELL Vostro 1000 Lap­top is on sale for $549 $739. If you’re look­ing for a lap­top for reg­u­lar use like surf­ing the Inter­net, cre­at­ing spread­sheets or doc­u­ments, chat­ting, etc. then this is the per­fect lap­top for you. One of the main advan­tages of this lap­top is its anti-glare screen: it doesn’t use the Tru­eLife screen (found in most Toshibas) which I find ridicu­lously annoy­ing. It also has Win­dows XP not Vista. XP is more sta­ble and secure now but even­tu­ally Vista will take over.

If you’re look­ing for an inex­pen­sive lap­top to use for school, col­lege or uni­ver­sity work this is the per­fect choice.

    I am inter­ested in the Dell laptop,Vostro 1000, adver­tized for $549.00, reg­u­lar price $739.00. How­ever, I am not cer­tain how to pur­chase this item with the adver­tized spec­i­fi­ca­tions. When I go into the Dell.ca site, and try to pur­chase this lap­top, the price increases to around $759.00 with the same acces­sories. Can this item be pur­chased with­out going through dell.ca. Or, put another way, how do I pur­chase the lap­top for $549.00 with the adver­tized specs?
