Baskin Robbins is having their annual 31 cent scoop night Wednesday April 28, 2010 5-10pm. I remember I went to this last year and it was a huge hit, with long lines! Head there early if you want to get your ice cream!

Thanks for the heads up! We went last year and it was great. There wasn’t even a line up since our local Baskin Robbins is in a touristy area and April is still off season!
Mmmn maybe Ill have cornpops for breakfast, then the all you can eat fries at Swiss Chalet, then get this scoop of ice cream
Wow, I remember this day.…we promised our kids a treat after they ate their dinner..So we drove to the one in Whitby.…RIDUCULOUS!!
The line up was around the building, explain that to a 2 year old..
So worth just paying the full price..the ice cream is the best!

Man, I miss Baskin Robbins. I first tried it at the Mic Mac Mall many years ago. It was the first time I ever had Rocky Road as well as Iced Cappucino (this was before Tim’s had it and before I ever saw a Starbucks). I wish we had a BR here in Fredericton.
As for difference, jenny, Baskin robbins is all about the different kinds of ice cream and frozen yogurt (31 flavours) whereas DQ has the best soft serve cones. Calorie wise, couldn’t tell ya.

Baskin Robbins has soft serve now too. Its not as good as DQ but I ♥ softserve:) YUM! I guess the soft serve wouldnt count on scoop night cause it cant be scooped?

the line ups are ridiculous , go early and line up . last time we went at 5 and had to wait 45 minutes.
Beware of this deal — I waited in line for an hour last year and it was supposed to be a 3 scoop maximum — but they were running out of icecream so they changed it to a one scoop maximum (Bloor West Toronto location) — so I ended up waiting in line for a looong hour listening to screaming childrenfor one crummy scoop
Our location is right next door to weight watchers, talk about oxymorons.
For those who went in the past was there a limit of scoops that you could get?

My location is Yorkdale Mall…it was really busy. I don’t think I’ll go again :\
@Weeeooojr — I would hit up a location that’s not in a shopping mall, Yorkdale would be hella busy for sure. We drove to two locations last year.
Does anyone know what its made out of? Cream or Milk?. Im planning on going anyways. I have placement until 4pm and hpoefully hitting it up right after with the drive be pulling in right at 5pm.
I think there is a limit of 2 scoops a person, and it’s tonight… on NOW!
My location had a maximum of two scoops per person too. My mom, bro and I went — waited for 15 minutes and were out. We were there at 5:30 but I could already see the line building behind us.
My location was 3 scoop limit per person, not much of line!
We went after daughters soccer, at about 7.15pm, bit of a line, but it moved very quickly. In and out in 10mins, got our scoops (3max) and donated a bit to the firefighters too.
Mine had a limit of 2… there was a line even at the very end. Got rocky road and raspberry cheesecake.
i recommend love potion. i missed it last year, so i went this year!! i went at 830 and lined up for half an hour. not bad, good services.
