Best Buy Canada is offering a gift card when you trade in your old iPod for recycling. To receive your gift card follow these three steps:
1. Bring your iPod and all its accessories to your local Best Buy store.
2. Talk to a Product Specialist. He/she will assess your iPod and determine its trade-in value.
3. Get a Best Buy gift card instantly. If your iPod has trade-in value, you will get a Best Buy gift card for that amount. If it doesn’t, we will still recycle it and plant a tree!

Ugh. Most of them just qualify for recycling and even the ones that do get money, you only get <$10.
Agree with Michael Kwan. It’s not worth it as you only get less than $10 for the majority of the iPods.

Way too low!! I paid $299 for my ITouch (nov 2009) & they only give about $7 …now way!!
I want a BB Playbook & asked at Future shop about trade in but they don’t have anything right now…so will just keep my Itouch or may sell it…

I can’t believe anyone would seriously consider doing this!! Sell it elsewhere and make some real money off it. Maybe this “deal” needs to be reviewed, no smartcanuck would fall for this, would they?
