    Am I the only one who doesn’t find the “spend this much then only spend this much to get that item” or “spend this much and get $10 off” deals not a deal? It is hands-down the most annoying thing about Canadian retailers. Didn’t even realize it was a Canadian thing until I started shopping in the States. 🙁

    I know what you mean. The Bay does this. Spend $100 and get $20 gift card but then you have to spend another $100 to use the $20 gift card. Not really a great deal then.

    I’m not much on BF; whether it be in US or Canada. Admittedly, there are much better deals across the border than here at home. IMO, as much as retailers here try, they cannot compare to our buddies to the south. Question for those more experienced holiday shoppers: are deals/sales about the same, better or worse when comparing BF and Boxing Day/week sales?
