This week­end, May 30–31, you can get a free $10 Quick­pay Tim Card from Shop­pers Drug Mart when you spend $50 or more.

As always, there is some fine print: “Excludes pre­scrip­tion pur­chases, Shop­pers Opti­mum Bonus Points, prod­ucts that con­tain codeine, tobacco prod­ucts (where applic­a­ble), lot­tery tick­ets, stamps, tran­sit tick­ets and passes, event tick­ets, elec­tronic gift cards, pre­paid phone cards, Life Expe­ri­ences pack­ages and Shop­pers Home Health Care locations.”

    the prod­ucts con­tain­ing codeine is a pretty funny restric­tion if you ask me…

    Are SDM gift cards valid for this pro­mo­tion? Or would that be con­sid­ered an elec­tronic gift card?

    The restric­tion of codeine prod­ucts i believe is set by the Phar­macy Col­lege of Ontario. They do not want drug stores sell­ing drugs for the wrong rea­son. Gift Cards are always excluded from all of their promotions

    i got 2 cards for spend­ing over $100. Its a great deal (even joined opti­mum pts to do it!)
