Actually I found this product at a Walmart in Ottawa before I knew about the free sample. Tastes great, and CHEAP! 50 packets for $0.97.

Where can I find this stuff in Canada? Walmart Canada doesn’t carry it and the freebie is no longer available. I LOVE THIS STUFF!!

Xylitol is probably the best bet for a ‘fake’ sweetener (since it’s actually natural!). They’ve done some studies on rats comparing sugar and splenda… the rats eating the Splenda gained more weight than the ones eating the sugar!

When I lived and went to university in Finland 16 years ago, Xylitol was all the rage. I think the main difference between it and other sweeteners, it doesn’t leave an aftertaste. Great for those diabetics whodon’t like the taste of fake sugar.
