McDonald’s Canada is giving away free small size coffee (again!). You can pay a little extra to get a medium or large size. Promotion runs all day across Canada from October 31 — November 6, 2011.

They won’t let you use your reusable cup…we’ll see come Halloween 2011.
Given the employees aren’t allowed to deviate from store policy and fill your reusable cups, I plan to set every cup I get for free, when empty, some where so as not to get caught for littering, but still make a mess that they have to clean up…

Another interesting tidbit: (Probably won’t apply to free coffee..) Last time I ordered a coffee I asked if I could have some caramel flavoring (from their ice coffee) They added it in and it tasted delicious! They have decent size cups and they don’t charge you for the flavour like Timmys does.

Use to work at Tim’s. Your coffee and muffin deal is wonderful, tastey and cheaper than Tim’s. Rather go to McDonalds any time. The atmosphere is laid back and peaceful.

:O) Well, I am downtown Toronto at Church and Bloor and they have a pop-up McCafe set up here at the south west corner giving away free coffee. I didn’t even have to go out of my way to get this. That makes me very happy and this is nice coffee. Well done, McD’s. Thanks!

Hey SwankIvy — if you don’t want to litter, then make you own coffee at home. You know, as opposed to actually taking the disposible cup, littering, then forcing a poor kid making minimum wage to clean up your mess. *Shakes head*

I work at Mcdonald’s and I’m not biased atall, but much prefer our coffee!
To the people who wish to destroy our stores, we have nothing to do with this decision! I ask that you please respect our crew, and our stores! I know the majority of people do! we really appreciate it!

How do you guys take your small coffees? double double? with cream or milk?
cuz i got the McD’s coffee and it was SOOO watery (which was double double) and didnt taste good at all and then we went to walmart and got offered some more .. so we took it… and still the and this time i added triple triple… still not creamy and rich… is there some special way u guys order it? cuz i dont get how its better then timmies„, thank for the input!

It could be a prepration problem but also they are two different blends so it could just be a personal preferance as it is a different blend of coffee.
My only advice is you make sure they’re using cream instead of milk!

My daughter works at McDonalds and you are welcome to use a reusable cup. You can also pay the difference and get a larger size of coffee

I take my coffee black, and I have never had a watery cup (buy one almost daily). I definitely find it better than Tim Hortons — in fact, I can’t remember the last time I bought coffee from Tim Hortons.
Also, like mentioned before, you can pay the difference for a medium or large. A large is $0.49 this week! =)

Whenever I go to Starbucks or Tim’s they won’t touch the lid of my reusable cup I have to remove the lid and put it back on, perhaps that is the issue but as I said all the McD’s in my town will fill a reusable cup.

The McDonald’s employees are completely innocent as they always get my order wrong. Didn’t mind making them bend over for those empty cups. Swank.

whats up with this company putting the price up for a bigmac and might i say is not a bigmac anymore it gets smaller every year and now you put the price up and don;t say the price of the contents is going up it can;t be cause like i said is getting smaller , you people should be ashamed of yourself . just another thing corp is taking advantage of , no wouder your not the number one fast food anymore
