Checkout 51: Cannot Combine Coupons With Neutrogena And Clean & Clear Offers

blog

Just a word of warning regarding the Neutrogena and Clean & Clear offers on Checkout 51 this week. The fine print does in fact state that you cannot combine these offers with coupons, and Checkout 51 have confirmed this on their Facebook page. I hope this isn’t a sign of things to come from Checkout 51. I certainly won’t be purchasing these products this week for the rebate. Click here to visit the Checkout 51 Facebook page.

I thought that was part of the benefit of Checkout51 is that you could combine.

How are they going to know though?

I bought 2 Neutrogena a few hours ago at Shopper’s drug Mart & used 2 x $5 coupons. I just checked and I did get the $5 credit in my Checkout51 account. Yay! And it was really obvious as I only bought the 2 cleansers and a couple of bags of chips.

2.99 Buitoni sale ends today @ Zehrs

How can they tell if you buy other groceries?

Still no Quebec. I wish they would just own up and tell everyone that they have no intention of opening up their offers to Quebec. It certainly does not take a whole year to set up a system translator for the french receipts… The worst is, their system can already read most of the receipts from Quebec (the receipts used to get processed until last month or so), but they refuse them because they are from Quebec. If they now also refuse to process receipts where coupons were used, this whole program will die a quick death.

I got the $5 today but they were not on rollback at my store they were $5.97 I used the 2 $2.50 coupons as well. My cookies disappeared from my checkout 51. They were there now there is nothing

i would like to know how they would know? I am pretty sure walmart totals the coupons at the end. Some stores like shoppers have item and coupon match underneath the coupon…

Me thinks I’m going to make a point to get to the $20 cash out soon and then forget about Checkout 51. It was fun at first, but now the offers are rarely interesting to me.

  9. Kerri says:

All the stores I shop at put the coupons all the way at the bottom of the receipt. So how would they know what the coupon relates to?

  10. madryn_m says:

Yeah most of the stores where I shop just list each coupon at the end of the receipt. So unless you’re only buying the Neutrogena items, there’s no way they’d be able to tell.
