Which one is the better deal? the 531 or the 530?
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor 4400+ is much much better than an Intel Celeron. Don’t buy Celeron guys! Celeron sucks!

When I said there may be an Intel one I meant Intel with Core 2 Duo
I personally would get better specs then both of those. My laptop is running Vista on specs like the 1.6, although it also has 3 gigs of ram and 250 gig hard drive. And on this, Vista LAGS! Trying to open programs, you need to wait for the bloody processer to clear one hurdle after another after another. I’d get something more like a 2.5 Gig Processor, at least, and 2 Gigs of ram. The ram will make a major difference, but if you want all the effects and prettiness, then these PCs will not do.
Heck, my desktop, of 3.1 Ghz processor, with 2.5 gigs of ram, FLYS compared to my laptop.
Thinking about it now… you could put Linux on it and it would be fast.
I order 3 for work today, lets see how long they take to arrive.

if you don’t want Vista on your Dell machine, just call instead of ordering online. They’ll stick XP on for you.
