My favorite article is “Tea and its Benefits” in the Fitness and Nutrition section. I like how comprehensive the site is, but perhaps it could be a little better organized (it was a little hard to navigate to the articles in each section).

Loved the article ‘Can That Give Me Breast Cancer?’ I like to keep informed about women’s health issues, especially involving cancer. A friend of mine finished treatments for breast cancer several months ago, and was told everything was fine. Over the weekend she ended up in the ER with severe headaches and they told her she now has tumors on her brain. So scary. It’s so important to keep on on women’s health issues and protect ourselves as much as we can.

This site covers almost everything you could ever think of. My favorite is alway the recipe section and when they talk about holiday stuff.

My favourite article is the exercise finder. I always have trouble targetting areas (read: muffin top) so this is an amazing tailored approach. I love the layout of this site. It’s feminine, without going overboard. It gives a really warm glow feeling to the reading…which is always hard to do over the internet.

I like that you can customize the site to your liking, but it is still overwhelmingly cluttered the first time you log in. Also, had to go through the registration process 3 times because once you enter your email address, the reflex is to click enter, which gets you back to the front page instead of page 2 of registration. Also, when selecting the year of birth, if you stop by accident on a date that makes you less than 13 years old, the process stops and you ahve to restart… Not very user friendly.

It’s very easy to get caught up in the commercial side of Christmas and we sometimes forget what the holiday season is really about. I found the site very informative but I think the site is a bit cluttered with so much advertising banners, etc.

I’ve never seen this site before, but the article I really enjoyed was, “3 Holiday Looks for Under $150.” I love articles like this that show me stylish pieces that I can actually buy in Canada without breaking the bank. I found the website nice overall, but found the main menu on the main page to flip through the articles too quickly for my taste. I also found that there is too much to look at on the site - the gossip section is not what I would expect to see on such a site (I love gossip, by the way, but I would prefer to go to a specific site that specializes in that).

It has a lot of great money management/saving tips and ideas which are great, especially for someone like me who is just starting out in the real world.
I agree with those regarding the site being a bit overcrowded. There is too much going on, on the left and right sides of the page. If picked one side and had all the ads, horoscopes, contests, that would be fine. Thanks!

I like that Divine.ca had a variety of things I haven’t seen in other magazine sites but I would suggest that they add in more stuff that would appeal to younger women as well. The readers would be more diverse that way.

I really enjoyed the Holiday Makeup Guide. The different looks featured expensive and inexpensive products.
My suggestion for the website would be to streamline the look of the content pages and create more balance between the ads, contests, and trial offers. Right now, I find the pages to be quite busy and distracting: I don’t know where to begin to read.

My favourite article from this site was “Why Toddlers Need Routines”, as I am trying to establish a clean up routine with my own two little ones (no small feat!) I personally found the site difficult to navigate and locate the articles I wanted, it is a bit cluttered. However the breadth of information is wonderful - there is really something for everyone!

My favourite article was the 3 holiday looks under $150. One thing that I did not like about the site was that it seemed like there was too much going on. There were too many links which made the page seem confusing. However I do like the fact that in the holiday article they give you links where you can find the respective accessories and clothing.

I like the Fitness and Nutrition articles. I also like the Health and Wellness section. I do find it a bit cluttered in format, ie I prefer the format in a scroll down style. There are ads left, right, top, middle and bottom, too busy.
In addition, with the Career and Money section, there should be a mini section on management skills. I find that in my personal life I meet a lot of female bosses that need social skills in this area. I don’t see many resources for them.

I like the Holiday Special article “What his gift says…” because it’s a light and fun perspective on gifts received. Sometimes I analyze gifts too much and the last bit, “Don’t Worry” reminds me to smile, and keep it all relaxed.

I enjoyed the article “How to Spice Up a First Date”, its ideas are great even if your date isn’t a first date. I like some of the more unconventional ideas. I actually really like the site, I appreciate its Canadian angle because you don’t find that in a magazine very often, they’re all American. However, the site’s layout could be improved, it does feel rather cluttered.

I like “3 Holiday Looks for Under $150″. They had great ideas on how to put together an outfit. I know that I would be totally clueless on what to wear on a special occasion, so, it’s great to be able to have something like that to refer to. Not to mention, all of them are under $150 including the dress. For occasions, the dress I end up buying comes to a pretty hefty sum.
I love the format on the different sections on the site, and the kind of “slide-show”. I think that it would be nice if the page could be widened because it all looks quite cluttered when they try to fit things into columns. Other than that, I find the site very easy to navigate.

I liked the article on Timeless Money Management Tips. The contests look great. I find that the pages are way too busy for me. Too many ads, links, pictures, polls. Less is more for me. I really dont think I could look at these pages for long because there is just too much going on. Also the links dont take you directly to a featured article, or I did something wrong.

My fav is the “herbs that heal”. i truly believe that herbs heal and aromatherapy as well. good to know some of these herbs we put in our meals are beneficial to our health, some of them even helping prevent flus and colds. I think that the positives of this site are the articles, of the ones I read they all were very well written and very interesting. The biggest ‘turn off’ of this website is the front page is very busy and could be much better organized. If I wear to visit this website and seen it was that cluttered I would be afraid of spam and pop ups and would probably go elsewhere for my information.

I am drawn to food and starting to appreciate wine so I absolutely love the Food & Wine Matcher! I never know what goes with what but this tool is so handy. The best thing is that you can specify the food type and how it’s prepared so the match is specific…not like “if it’s seafood, it goes well with white wine.” Now, my wine will taste better. Thank you Divine!

The articles are great, Digital Camera Review was great to see as I will be purchasing soon and the article about making girlfriends as adults I also thought was great. This site has sooooo much information and fun stuff but soooo hard to navigate, kinda cluttered needs some streamlining. I also tried to join but they havent sent the welcome email so I can activate it, had it resent and still no email

I find the site much too busy. Too many windows and sections and sub-sections. Once you find something it’s very hard to find it again. It looks like there is all kinds of great information there, but the site needs to be organized better and easier to navigate and search.

This is a great site. Very informative and easy to navigate. I just find that there is so much information coming out at once on the home page making it look unorganized and jumbled. But once you find what your looking for its great information.

I actually really loved the baby name finder the most. I thought it was a really unique feature that I haven’t seen in any other online magazines. Other than that, my favourite section would have to be the entertainment section. It was really convenient as I usually have to go to a separate website for that. In regards to the celebrity video section, I would suggest perhaps adding more interviews and having a daily update video that catches you up on all the latest news.

most kids dont wash there hands long enough or really good, when i had my neice and nephew living with me i would tell them to wash all the time, and would go with them and sing happy birthday (20 sec) and show how to wash good, sometimes i would use special soap that would show where they didnt wash good enough or the germs would be

I would suggest reformatting the website layout. There are too many polls and advertisements where they shouldn’t be and it’s quite distracting. One of my top reasons as to why I navigate away from websites is because they look too cluttered and busy. There are too many things going on!

when I opened Divine.ca website, I Thought to myself how is this website any different from all those websites which have parenting advices, recipes,fashion tips ect. etc. all websites specially targeted towards women have those things . So I made my personal agenda to find something different about this website then I stumbled on to the TOOLS section ! sections like virtual bartender and cooking dictionary are something whcih is so new and useful.for the life of me I never knew what “À la Provençale” meant before. I wish Divine.ca will concentrate more on breaking from the norm of parenting advices and fashion tips.right now i am off to making my own homepage on Divine.ca and see what else i can discover there. thanks

Sometimes it’s good to be reminded that everyone enjoys hearing “good job” or “I appreciate that”. Sometimes the days fly by so fast we forget to stop and say “Nice Job!”

Personally, I have been loving the exercise finder tool. I like that you can select the body part that you specifically want to tone (hello outer thighs!!) and it gives you a list of exercises to use to work on that area. Great idea!

I love, and often use, the Calories Burned Calculator, which is an extensive list of activities tailored to your weight and the duration of the activity, letting you know how many calories you burned! I track calories, so this helps a lot!

My only suggestions for the site are…. more nut-free recipes and perhaps help those that have family memebrs that are allergic find companies that are nut-free [baking supplies and baking chocolate are SO hard to find... I do so much holiday baking but I can't let my nephew taste any of it just incase the products I used came in contact with nuts [most labels won't say]

My favourite article would have to be “Breast Health and Teenagers” seeing as so many teenagers are young and unaware of the consequences. Teenagers are the future leaders of our generation, and it is important to make sure they are aware of breast health at an early age.
Suggestion: Hot topics be put somewhere more visible, rather than the bottom right hand corner.

I think that all the Fitness Calculators should have a disclaimer - that 1) the calculators are merely an extremely generalized estimate of health/fitness 2) that actual medical opinion is required before drastically changing any lifestyle choices and 3) that variations such as muscle mass, fat content and bone density can actually either falsely elevate or lower BMI scores.

I’ve been going to Divine.ca FOREVER!! The recent article on Tea & its health benefits was of particular interest, as I’ve been a proponent of tea drinking for many years; green, black, and every colour in between! LOL
I do, however, think that the home page is too cluttered … maybe they should take a look at SC - the tabs sure do tidy things up!

•What you like about Divine.ca or suggestions: I loved the Food & Wine Matcher tool. I love how they pair foods with certain wines and then it tells you why it works together. I also like they have some great contests to enter(like the Tide Basket). I liked the site so my I joined :).
I too find it a bit cluttered so some organization could be welcomed.

I like the celebrity gossip section and top ten celebrity countdown. I enjoyed reading about fashion, sex, health and financial information. Although I agree with other comments, it is a little to crowded. The site provides a lot of information.

I really enjoyed this site. It was my first time using it and I really liked it. My favorite article was “Beauty Goes Techie”. What I like about Divine.ca is that it is very informative and it seems that you could find an article on just about anything you were looking for. I don’t have anything negative to say about the site as I thought it was pretty useful! I just bookmarked it for the future!

My only critique is on the layout of the homepage, it seems a little cluttered, I know they have lots of sections and great articles/info but maybe if the adds were smaller there may be more space? I dunno, great site though!

My favourite articles would be “Chicago on the Cheap” and “Montreal on the cheap”. I wish they had them for more cities, makes traveling a lot easier when you know what’s good. I hate frequenting the typical tourist areas as the prices are always jacked up!

I am a member of Divine.ca and have been for a while. I always like to read the articles in the SEX and LOVE section…as far as a fav. article…there are a few and let’s just put it this way…the titles are a wee bit rated R for this site.
I find the calculators on the site good and there are a lot of them…so one doesn’t have to run all over the net to find them!
Way to go Divine.ca!

I really enjoyed the articles about holiday decor, and giving back at christmas. It is always so easy for everyone to forget that giving a gift to someone who really needs it is the real gift during any time of year. I really enjoyed the site but there are a bit too many ads.

In the tools section I really liked the fashion glossary, I found it rather helpful and I was able to learn something, I also really liked the short tips provided online - I think the website looks great with a lot of info and cool features such as the quizzes and videos

The typical features like daily horoscope, and contests are fun but I really enjoyed the article, “Are you ready for the holidays.” Around this time everyone is running around like a chicken with their heads cut off and something like this calms us and helps us get organized. I sure appreciate it! Plus, quizzes are fun too!

My favourite article is “I Can’t Believe They Invented That!”, because the article introduces some pretty neat products that I haven’t seen nor heard of. Divine.ca has many interesting articles, but as many have mentioned, the website layout needs improvement. They need to reorganize the website so that it is easier to navigate and not have some many different things on a single page. It makes the webpage too cluttered.
