My favorite article is "Tea and its Benefits" in the Fitness and Nutrition section. I like how comprehensive the site is, but perhaps it could be a little better organized (it was a little hard to navigate to the articles in each section).

Loved the article 'Can That Give Me Breast Cancer?' I like to keep informed about women's health issues, especially involving cancer. A friend of mine finished treatments for breast cancer several months ago, and was told everything was fine. Over the weekend she ended up in the ER with severe headaches and they told her she now has tumors on her brain. So scary. It's so important to keep on on women's health issues and protect ourselves as much as we can.

I've been to divine.ca site more times than I can count.
This site covers almost everything you could ever think of. My favorite is alway the recipe section and when they talk about holiday stuff.

My favourite article is the exercise finder. I always have trouble targetting areas (read: muffin top) so this is an amazing tailored approach. I love the layout of this site. It's feminine, without going overboard. It gives a really warm glow feeling to the reading...which is always hard to do over the internet.

I like that you can customize the site to your liking, but it is still overwhelmingly cluttered the first time you log in. Also, had to go through the registration process 3 times because once you enter your email address, the reflex is to click enter, which gets you back to the front page instead of page 2 of registration. Also, when selecting the year of birth, if you stop by accident on a date that makes you less than 13 years old, the process stops and you ahve to restart... Not very user friendly.

It's very easy to get caught up in the commercial side of Christmas and we sometimes forget what the holiday season is really about. I found the site very informative but I think the site is a bit cluttered with so much advertising banners, etc.

I've never seen this site before, but the article I really enjoyed was, "3 Holiday Looks for Under $150." I love articles like this that show me stylish pieces that I can actually buy in Canada without breaking the bank. I found the website nice overall, but found the main menu on the main page to flip through the articles too quickly for my taste. I also found that there is too much to look at on the site - the gossip section is not what I would expect to see on such a site (I love gossip, by the way, but I would prefer to go to a specific site that specializes in that).

It has a lot of great money management/saving tips and ideas which are great, especially for someone like me who is just starting out in the real world.
I agree with those regarding the site being a bit overcrowded. There is too much going on, on the left and right sides of the page. If picked one side and had all the ads, horoscopes, contests, that would be fine. Thanks!

I like that Divine.ca had a variety of things I haven't seen in other magazine sites but I would suggest that they add in more stuff that would appeal to younger women as well. The readers would be more diverse that way.

I really enjoyed the Holiday Makeup Guide. The different looks featured expensive and inexpensive products.
My suggestion for the website would be to streamline the look of the content pages and create more balance between the ads, contests, and trial offers. Right now, I find the pages to be quite busy and distracting: I don't know where to begin to read.

My favourite article from this site was "Why Toddlers Need Routines", as I am trying to establish a clean up routine with my own two little ones (no small feat!) I personally found the site difficult to navigate and locate the articles I wanted, it is a bit cluttered. However the breadth of information is wonderful - there is really something for everyone!

My favourite article was the 3 holiday looks under $150. One thing that I did not like about the site was that it seemed like there was too much going on. There were too many links which made the page seem confusing. However I do like the fact that in the holiday article they give you links where you can find the respective accessories and clothing.

I like the Fitness and Nutrition articles. I also like the Health and Wellness section. I do find it a bit cluttered in format, ie I prefer the format in a scroll down style. There are ads left, right, top, middle and bottom, too busy.
In addition, with the Career and Money section, there should be a mini section on management skills. I find that in my personal life I meet a lot of female bosses that need social skills in this area. I don't see many resources for them.

I enjoyed the article "How to Spice Up a First Date", its ideas are great even if your date isn't a first date. I like some of the more unconventional ideas. I actually really like the site, I appreciate its Canadian angle because you don't find that in a magazine very often, they're all American. I like "3 Holiday Looks for Under $150". They had great ideas on how to put together an outfit. I know that I would be totally clueless on what to wear on a special occasion, so, it's great to be able to have something like that to refer to. Not to mention, all of them are under $150 including the dress. For occasions, the dress I end up buying comes to a pretty hefty sum.
I love the format on the different sections on the site, and the kind of "slide-show". I think that it would be nice if the page could be widened because it all looks quite cluttered when they try to fit things into columns. Other than that, I find the site very easy to navigate.

I think that the positives of this site are the articles, of the ones I read they all were very well written and very interesting. The biggest 'turn off' of this website is the front page is very busy and could be much better organized. If I wear to visit this website and seen it was that cluttered I would be afraid of spam and pop ups and would probably go elsewhere for my information.

I am drawn to food and starting to appreciate wine so I absolutely love the Food & Wine Matcher! I never know what goes with what but this tool is so handy. The best thing is that you can specify the food type and how it's prepared so the match is specific...not like "if it's seafood, it goes well with white wine." Now, my wine will taste better. The articles are great, Digital Camera Review was great to see as I will be purchasing soon and the article about making girlfriends as adults I also thought was great. This site has sooooo much information and fun stuff but soooo hard to navigate, kinda cluttered needs some streamlining. I find the site much too busy. Too many windows and sections and sub-sections. Once you find something it's very hard to find it again. It looks like there is all kinds of great information there, but the site needs to be organized better and easier to navigate and search.

I actually really loved the baby name finder the most. I thought it was a really unique feature that I haven't seen in any other online magazines. Other than that, my favourite section would have to be the entertainment section. It was really convenient as I usually have to go to a separate website for that. In regards to the celebrity video section, I would suggest perhaps adding more interviews and having a daily update video that catches you up on all the latest news.

I would suggest reformatting the website layout. There are too many polls and advertisements where they shouldn't be and it's quite distracting. One of my top reasons as to why I navigate away from websites is because they look too cluttered and busy. There are too many things going on!

when I opened Divine.ca website, I Thought to myself how is this website any different from all those websites which have parenting advices, recipes,fashion tips ect. etc. all websites specially targeted towards women have those things . So I made my personal agenda to find something different about this website then I stumbled on to the TOOLS section ! sections like virtual bartender and cooking dictionary are something whcih is so new and useful.for the life of me I never knew what "À la Provençale" meant before. Sometimes it's good to be reminded that everyone enjoys hearing "good job" or "I appreciate that". Sometimes the days fly by so fast we forget to stop and say "Nice Job!"

I love, and often use, the Calories Burned Calculator, which is an extensive list of activities tailored to your weight and the duration of the activity, letting you know how many calories you burned! I track calories, so this helps a lot!

My favourite article would have to be "Breast Health and Teenagers" seeing as so many teenagers are young and unaware of the consequences. Teenagers are the future leaders of our generation, and it is important to make sure they are aware of breast health at an early age.

I think that all the Fitness Calculators should have a disclaimer - that 1) the calculators are merely an extremely generalized estimate of health/fitness 2) that actual medical opinion is required before drastically changing any lifestyle choices and 3) that variations such as muscle mass, fat content and bone density can actually either falsely elevate or lower BMI scores.

What I like about Divine.ca is that it is very informative and it seems that you could find an article on just about anything you were looking for. I am a member of Divine.ca and have been for a while. I always like to read the articles in the SEX and LOVE section...as far as a fav. article...there are a few and let's just put it this way...the titles are a wee bit rated R for this site.
I find the calculators on the site good and there are a lot of them...so one doesn't have to run all over the net to find them!

the only suggestion i have is that a couple of times i tried to access stuff it said that someone else had alreayd entered with my email address...not sure if someone has cloned the address or if it is a glitch. but i am definatly not ruling out operator error.

As for suggestions to improve the site, I would try to organize a bit better. It seems slightly cluttered, I would prefer it to be more linear and less ads within the article titles. Overall the site is great and the articles are fun and informative!

I am a guy who doesn't like shopping and I'm lost when I have to shop for my female friends and family. Divine is great as it gives me gift suggestions, the price and links me to the company's website where I can purchase it right away. I think this is awesome, it makes online shopping so easy. I can even save the items to my Wish List for later and even search for items in different categories within the price range I choose. It makes shopping convenient and that's what I like. I feel tired when I hear the word 'mall'.

I read a couple of articles, from the Career & Money and Fashion & Beauty sections... one of the ones that I found most interesting was the "3 Holiday Looks for Under $150" article (I have fallen in love with those Laack shoes!). Overall the website is well designed, but it seems cluttered, and that makes it slightly difficult to find things. My recommendation would be more streamlining, less info, more headings/columns to organize articles and make them easier to find. it was also kind of strange that one article I read (the one aforementioned) had a completely different page background and colour scheme than the others. I thought that I had accidentally clicked through to a different website!

you can customize the site to what you want to show up when you sign in very nice. I have to say I really like the quiz in the fashion part it helped me out with my outfit for this Christmas which is good. And most of the stuff I have not really same as the pic but close to it. Also I really like their fitness and nutrition tools the help out a lot now I know if you walk for 2 hours fast you will only lose 81 more calories then walking slow.

Wow tons of info on all sorts of interesting topics! I really enjoyed checking out this site and looking into all the different parenting articles. As a soon to be first time mom and a teacher for children with special needs I think this site has a lot to offer me.

I'm very excited for holiday parties (not that I go to many) so the 'Holiday Makeup Guide' was helpful (not that I even own much eyeshadow... I'm usually to terrified of looking like a clown to wear it... This year will be the year I break out of my eyeliner and mascara shell!)
The front page is a bit cluttered and some of the articles are too short, I found half of them didn't contain more than common-sense knowledge and no actual facts or information... like the massage guide... didn't really say anything about the actual massage.
The contents are really good though! And I like the idea of the Review Squad... I definitely joined!

My favourite Divine.ca section is exercise finder. I work out a lot and so far have pretty much obtained my goal without needing a trainer. This section will surely further my body-sculpting results. I like that its concise and doesn't take much space if I just save/print off the page to take to the gym. And the fact that it's already bodyparts grouped makes my split routine planning easy and effective. My only comment is I'd like to see more pilates or yoga routines on the site.

However, I was disappointed that all the articles (that I read) on divine.ca did not include visuals (pics or video) to back-up the written content. Also, I found the ads hindered the design layout/appeal of this website. I suggest you integrate the ads better into the site or dedicate a separate section within the site to the ads and the messages they want to convey.

Favourite article: Timeless Management Tips--very timely issue for most of us. A good reminder of some of the common sense "tips" we tend to forget.
Pros:
(1) Great variety of issues/topics to select from (even the gossip section which is a good distraction from the more serious stuff we all need once in a while)!
(1) I like the idea of "my favourites"...great way to track relevant topics/issues.
Cons:
(1) The site is a bit cluttered, perhaps no more than most sites. Perhaps a revamping of the layout would help.
Overall Opinion: Definitely a site worth revisiting!

In terms of a suggestion when I clicked to view this particular article the whole website turned to a different background color (black) for the holiday special but it threw me off as the look is too different and the breadcrumb navigation shifted on me as well so I needed to use the back button on the browser.

The article I enjoyed was "Celeb Hook-Ups and Break-Ups of 2009", definitely one of the more interesting ones.
What would suggest to divine.ca is definitely have a more prominent color scheme! Your articles mesh into the background and everything around it; this creates such difficult navigation around the site. Everything seems too cramped together- there is just too much going on at once it's hard for a reader to focus on what they decided to focus upon. The layout is bland and lackluster; spice it up a bit! What bugs me the most, personally, is the little boxes that you have to use the scroll bar in order to read everything. I like it to be just THERE without cramping size 8 text into a small box! All together divine.ca has absolutely wonderful articles- a better layout and color scheme would definitely bring more life to the website, and thus, attracting more women to come to the site!

My favourite article was "Composting Methods Explored". This was perfect for me, as we just received a Green box as part of our recycling program to help reduce waste going to our dumps. This article gave me insight as to what types of items we can use in our compost bin instead of putting it into the trash.

My favourite article is entitled Tea and Its Benefits, I have recently been wanting to learn more about this topic and was pleased to come across it on the site. Also, I like the layout of the article, it provides all the information under headings, so it is easier for me to reference, or remember the points of interest after reading. Also, it provides a lot of backround information, suggestiongs and interesting facts and tidbits on the subject.
The home page contains too much information and is therfore difficult to navigate. Seems like they are trying to be everything to everyone, I think the site would benefit from focusing on only a couple of topics and being most knowledgable it these areas, rather than having a lot of info about everything. People usually subscribe to a particular magazine due to some specific area of interest/content they enjoy reading about or want more information on. Also, some of the content should be removed or archived not on the main page of a category- like the Trick or Treating Safety Guide Article (we're now in December).

I receive a monthly reminder from Divine.ca to do Self Breast Examinations, which is always useful.

I liked this website - some of the Health & Wellness articles were really good. I find that many mags for women are the same - same articles on gossip, beauty and health. I am interested in all of these topics BUT I would have more respect for, and would be more interested and likely to read a magazine that included a section on feminism in some form (ps:cutesy 'why it's great to be a woman' articles don't count
Maybe highlight 1 woman per week who is doing important things (not celebrities). Or talk about important movements that are helpful (Dove had a really great program about girls and body image). Being a STRONG, INTELLIGENT woman is sooo Devine

I found an article called "Sore Throat Relief" - I have had a sore throat for the past few days and never thought of the hot water, honey and lemon drink they sugested in the article, going to try it today.
They layout of each page, ie. fitness & nutrition, food & home; is broken on the page into 4 columns. The page would be much easier to view and navigae if it was layed out differently and maybe only stick to three columns max.

I had a bit of a problem finding how to search. Once I located the search box it was easy enough, but maybe it comes back to the site being a bit busy as others have suggested. It's not that it's bad really, but if you were to improve it, that's a good spot to start.

Well today was my first time at divine.ca. I must say there was alot to look at however my challenge was the sheer amount of information on one page. I certainly think they could clean it up a bit so it is more user friendly and easier to catch people's attention. The one section I fancied was the Tools section. I particularliy liked the cooking dictionary as we don't always know or understand what we are looking for when using recipes for the first time. It was a handy tool and certainly one I will continue to use.

I have never heard of this site before the giveaway. I actually prefer to hold the real deal in my hands. I enjoyed the article about timeless money management. I can't believe that some people are completely oblivious to where they are spending there money but it can be easily done I admit. The article is really a reminder and hopefully you have read this before somewhere else. Anywhere else. Hopefully. I really like all the tools that you find on the grey bar running down the left side, the fitness and nutrition ones were the best, an easy to navigate and fun diversion.
I like that this site is on the light hearted fun side, I prefer the New York Times for serious and in-depth "news" and Divine does not pretend to be anything like that.

My favourite article this month is the holiday cookie recipies, I made the Pistachio Sugar Cookies today and found them to be excellent.
I like the many articles and features that divine features. It seems to be a one stop shop for me, as most features on divine are relevant to me.
My one suggestion is that it may have TOO much info! The website feels to cluttered, so I usually go through my favourite sections, often ignoring other sections.

My favourite article is the one about Timeless Money Management Tips. I find this really helpful in the midst of all these great deals and sales I've been seeing! The timing for this article is perfect! I feel like the homepage is a bit cluttered. The size of the advertisements are the same size of the categories of the website which makes it hard to distinguish what is an advertisement and what is actually a part of the website.
