Starting next week, Metro and Food Basics will begin accepting printable coupons. As with most stores, they will not accept printable coupons for free products and are still not pricematching or allowing overage but it is great news. Will you shop there more once they accept printables?
A huge thank you to wifey and nancy for letting us know about this.
I shop there anyways for flyer sale items, however this is GREAT NEWS as now I have less stores to hit per week, and saves on gas, time etc. It is about time they got on the train with the rest of the market as competion is huge!
Too late for them… after several attempts with printables rejected I learned to price match them elsewhere and rarely miss a good deal anyway. It might be useful sometimes, but when working out the grocery route my mind already bypasses them.
Yay! Won’t go out of my way to shop @ Metro but good news for Food Basics.
Totally agree with alisa1. Using price matching basically at No Frills and occasionally at the Superstore. We have also eliminated Walmart due to
easier, more friendly service at our new No Frills when price matching.
Good Customer Service sells!
