I work at a Hotel and we/guests get free movie passes. But we can only use when a movie is three weeks old. They had the deal for free passes on cereal about once a year, those passes are good for any show(at least they were, haven’t tired these ones yet).
Does anyone know when they expire? Spiderman 3 is coming…
Looks like they say good until May 17th – which isnt the greatest, 2 years ago when they did this they were good for almost a full year. I bought about 100 boxes 🙂 Also keeo your eye out these cereals will go on sale for 2.99 or even 1.99.
General Mills Lucky Charms, Nesquik and Cinnamon cereal are onsale for 2.99 at Shoppers Drugmart – some of the stores have the boxes with the movie passes and others don’t – just gotta check around.
The only one I’ve found that gives you the two dollar summer bonus is the oatmeal crisp cereal.
Also I live in Ontario (kitchener waterloo) and we don’t have an A&P or Dominion is there another store that would have the above mentioned “A&P and Dominion (Ontario) have the Pizza Pops on sale for 1.99!… and …. Oatmeal Crisp and Cheerios are also on sale for $3.99!” ???
I think the offer sucks as I live in NB and there is tons of products with the coupons, but it states in bold letters on the coupon that it’s not valid in NB, NS, PEI or NF. NOT FAIR TO THE ATLANTIC CANADIAN CONSUMERS!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I’ve got 3 coupons that are of no use to me!!!!!!!!!

You should definately complain to General Mills – I’m not even joking – they may send you free movie coupons in the mail or maybe change that rule – it’s worth a try.
I do not often eat cereal but I very often go to movies. When I saw the offer of free movies on the General Mills, Oatmeal Crisp Cereal Boxes, I bought 8 boxes of various types.
The sign in the store said low in Sodium, High in Potassium. This, along with the ads on TV implies that the cereal is nutritious and thus good for you. NOT TRUE! Why? SUGAR!!
As any Dietician or Nutritionist will tell you, the North American diet contains far too much sugar. The result of this is the alarming increase in Diabetes.
The solution: Put a package of sugar in the cereal box.
It is easy to sprinkle sugar if you so choose. It is virtually impossible to remove the sugar if you do not want it.
It would not harm Gen Mills to educate their consumers. When I called the Consumer Line to ask why there is all this sugar (It is the 3rd highest product content of all the listed ingredients). I was told that it tastes better. I was not given the name, email or phone number of anyone who is responsible for the contents of their cereals.
If anyone out there can provide me with a name and email address of someone at Gen. Mills who can address this issue, I would greatly appreciate it.
