i was excited to have grocery gateway deliver on time with decent produce. but my ground beef was one day away from expiration upon arrival and my 13 dollar box of chicken breasts was already a week expired and when i called customer service i was on hold forever!
One time they came 15min early. Another time I received an egg carton with 4 broken eggs leaking all over the place. The produce has been pretty good so far except for the one time the tomato they gave me was the size of a plum. If you requested something that is out of stock, they will substitute other items for it…whether you like it or not and charge you for it. Would I use Grocery Gateway all the time? No. Would I use it every now and then if I didn’t have time to go get groceries myself? Yes.
