How to get a Free meal at McDonald’s

Posted by & filed under Canadian Freebies, Free Stuff.

Interesting way of getting a free meal at McDoanld’s. I’m posting it for fun so please don’t take it seriously and don’t try it.

Depends how busy they are sometimes you pay at window one sometimes window two.

Ive heard of people doing this before, but stealing is stealing no matter how you do it.

Calm down a bit gk lol!

  2. Justin S.

i used to work at mcdonald’s and figured out a way to stop this. whenever someone does this…the person at the order window punches in a water–that’s it. then when the car arrives at the last window, the person hands them their water and goodbye!

  3. Boo-Hoo

Maybe gk was in this situation before like the employees @ McFat-Yourself. Come on, if you’ve been around this forum long enough, you’d know Boo would never advocate this type of thing, its all in the fun, keeps stuff interesting.

Also, why do you assume this is an encouragement for others to do the same? Perhaps this can be an example for the employees — have them anticipate and prepare for situations like these.

Boo Radley, please change the topic to “How to steal a meal at McDonald’s”.

    When does stealing become “fun”?

@ Boo-Hoo: This is a site to promote getting deals and freebies, not a site to educate McDonalds employees. Although I don’t think Boo Radley is “encouraging” people to steal, but undoubtly he is advocating or at the very least, promoting this behaviour.

I really like this site so I hope the quality of posts will continue to be high.

  5. Boo Radley

amg, I’ve always posted off-topic stuff on Smart Canucks (SC). I don’t just treat SC as a deals website, it’s also somewhat my personal homepage where I like posting fun stuff every now and then. In the past, SC was small and I didn’t have problems with these off-topic posts. But as of recently, as the number of visitors has significantly increased I’m pressured into being “politically correct”… people get mad at trivial things… if I share a video for fun… if I talk about modding.… if I post a not so great deal. To be honest this pressure is annoying… I provide the highest quality and most honest service without expecting anything in return (never did I post a crappy deal to make money out of it and I am always very truthful in my posts). Yet people can’t tolerate some humour or sarcasm every now and then. When I posted this video I was not advocating or promoting bad behaviour. First of all I know most McDs in Canada have a single window to receive payment and get your meal so that wouldn’t work. Secondly, I posted it for the pure fun of it and I don’t see how it would change anyone’s attitude… people who don’t steal will not start stealing after watching that video.

and for all the idiots posting lame comments, it might me nice to know who the person in the video is: Remi Gailard is a french prankster. No, he is not a thief but pulls pranks just for kicks, not for a free Mc-D meal.
He is well knows for many other pranks.

  7. Samuel

Boo, just ignore those self-claimed-internet-profanity police, this stuff is great

  8. amg

@ boo radley: like i’ve mentioned, i don’t doubt your intention when you posted the video, but with your site being a PUBLIC site, a site that you gave the name “the first canadian deals blog” and you put ads on your site, meaning you are expecting visitors and to get revenue, wouldn’t you be a bit more careful about what you choose to post? it’s not about being politically correct or anything, but there will be ppl who might get the wrong message from this video on your site. for me, i saw the catchy title and clicked on the video right away to see how i can get this “freebie”, but utterly disappointed to see that it’s actually a scam…

i hope you are reading my comments positively. afterall, i’m spending time posting this is because i really like your site and i hope it will get even better. have said that, this is your site so do whatever you want with it…

  9. Boo Radley

You raise some good points amg. I think the problem’s that I always visit SC through a web browser and forget that many people visit it through RSS feeds where a title like this would be very annoying I agree.

Thanks for your constructive criticism and honest feedback. I appreciate taking the time to explain your point of view and I’ll definetely take it into consideration in my future posts :)

The title should be changed to “How to RIPOFF McDonalds”.

First off, Boo Radly, you are wrong when you say “Most McD’s have a single window to recieve payment”. During rush-hour times (lunch and super), almost every McDonalds that I know that has a in-person drive-thru ordering system (as the case in this video) has atleast 2 drive-thru windows open when it’s busy. One to take the order and cash, and the other to pickup the food. It’s only when they are NOT busy is when they may cut down to 1 window. The guy in the video mensions that it will only work if it’s busy.

Secondly, I hardly see the “humour” in this Video. The guy in the video is blatently ripping off McDonalds. At no point in the video does he take the items back to pay for them. Infact, you can hear the jerk in the background “laughing” as they take off with the stolen goods. It makes me sick to know that thieves like this can post a video like that and get away with it. What’s even more shocking is that this video was re-posted on a legit deal site. There are tons of scum buckets out there that will use the exploit in this video to rip-off McDonalds.

Oh dear noone can take a joke anymore.

This stuff has been on tv before did everyone shut off there tvs?

Its a blog. People give Boo a break he does so much work for this site.

  12. Sally888

Oh and pretty sure over 90% of people already heard about this almost ”urban legend” and the people actually dumb enough to try it do deserve to get caught. But im sure those are the same dumb butts running around ”punking” people.

At some point people need to take responsibility for there own actions. Do you really think if dummys try it out there going to say contact Boo from the internet he made me do it? No. If they did the police would laugh.

Everything doesnt have to be taken so darn seriously.

  13. amycanada77

Hmmm my McDonalds never uses a two window process h2 — they have two windows but always say to pull to the 2nd window … I always thought that was strange — perhaps they have stopped using the two window process because things like this were happening! who knows!

  14. frugiedh

Personally, I don’t know how you could read this–
” I’m posting it for fun so please don’t take it seriously and don’t try it.“
and then proceed to think it is a freebie idea, but perhaps you didn’t read the whole sentence. Boo DID preface it though so you must give him credit for that. If you also had a look at some of the other content on the blog, you would see that compared to other stuff on the internet, this site is squeeky clean and has very high standards.

I love this blog and all the different content that is contains and when I watch stuff like this video, it reminds me that there are lots of crazies and dishonest people out there and makes me more cautious. How people dream up this stuff is beyond me.

  15. Glen

I guess people are in a such rush to post their opinions, that they don’t even bother to read the entire sentence.

  16. h2

It’s kind of hard not to take it seriously, when the guy in the video is commiting a theft (and laughing like a jerk-off in the end). That pisses me off. I guess some people have a sick sense of humar and actually enjoy watching a big franchise like McD’s getting ripped off, eh Sally888?

Obviously Boo is not promoting this type behaviour, and it has nothing to do with the site he runs, but I fail to see the “fun” and the “joke” in this video.

  17. junior

amg — “have said that, this is your site so do whatever you want with it…”

Then what EXACTLY is the point of you writing all this?? or just say what you had to say and leave it at that, why would you then end it with that sentence? you just wasted everyone’s time and space here.

And basically your just backlashing b/c you were disappointed that there is no free meal after all and you were mislead by the post. OBVIOUSLY all along it was meant to be a joke and it is YOU who mislead it to a freebie. Come on, the 1st thing I notice was it’s from YOUTUBE and then you catch on pretty quickly, I guess u are not familiar w/it.

Oh yea and then theres this: “Interesting way of getting a free meal at McDoanld’s. I’m posting it for ***fun so please ***don’t take it seriously and don’t try it” — RIGHT UNDERNEATH the big fat title that mislead you. Maybe if u werent so hungry to get to this freebie, you would’ve seen that.

Boo, you dont have to do anything different, the site is fine as is. You dont have to explain or justify anything to anyone, seriously. and you certainly dont deserve to put up with this CRAP because it is YOUR SITE.

  18. Sally888

I guess some people have a sick sense of humar and actually enjoy watching a big franchise like McD’s getting ripped off, eh Sally888?’

Im sorry but I dont get your comment, I dont have a sick sense of ‘humar’(correctly spelled humour) nor do I enjoy watching people get ripped off.

Thats a pretty big statement for someone who knows nothing about me. Ive never even stolen from a store in my entire life.

But I do know you need to lighten up, do you freak out during comedy sketches like just for laughs? Or when Dave Chapelle pretends to be blitzed? Just because you so something on a video doesnt me you have to try it. How much do u wanna bet this Mcdonalds video was premeditated and planned with store staff?

Dont call me out again unless you have your facts straight.

Boos doing a superior job, and I suggest that if its that bad here you check out other sites because I assure you this is the cleanest one there is!!!!

  19. h2

Oh dear noone can take a joke anymore”.

If you want to start correcting other peoples spelling / grammar, mabey you should start with your own.

Tell me sally888, where is the funny joke is in this video that “noone can take”?

How much do u wanna bet this Mcdonalds video was premeditated and planned with store staff?”

ROFL! Are you for real? The only funny joke I find here are the ridiculas comments that come from you.

  20. Boo Radley

h2, you’ve crossed all red lines with your rude inconsiderate comments. If you don’t like the video don’t watch it. If you don’t like the blog don’t read it.

And yes your grammar and spelling suck big time.

  21. h2

    Thank you Boo.

I look forward to watching your next “fun” video. Hopefully, stealing and any other type of criminal activity isn’t part of its humorous content.

  22. Boo Radley

h2, I’m sorry about the spelling and grammar comment I made. I was pissed off by the way you spoke to Sally but I shouldn’t have said that anyway. Sorry.

  23. Hamburglar

And yes your grammar and spelling suck big time.”

    Missing commas.

If you want to start correcting other peoples spelling / grammar, mabey you should start with your own.”

    Indeed … “mayeb” you should.

Im sorry but I dont get your comment, I dont have a sick sense of ‘humar’(correctly spelled humour) nor do I enjoy watching people get ripped off.”

    Missing apostrophes.

None of you should be correcting anyone’s grammar.

  24. Sally888

Well let’s see I have two children running around when I post stuff. Mama does not have time nor the patience to correct her mistakes. Considering I am a spelling bee champion don’t even get me started, or we will be spelling words via web camera. Also did you check the time I made my post? Good lord people I would of been awake for 18 hours by the time that was posted.

As for the ones who pointed out my spelling mistakes did you ever think I just threw ‘em in there to see if anyone caught them?

Probably not, I forgot not allowed to joke around. But perhaps good sir its something you must of at least considered right? Ha ha.

H2, pointing out my spelling mistakes, probably using spell check you should of spell checked the rest of your comment.

”The only funny joke I find here are the ridiculas comments that come from you

It is totally ”ridiculas!” you have made my night. In fact, maybe my week because I really dont lead an exciting life. I like to watch sick and twisted you tube videos of Mc Donalds in my spare time.

  25. Sally888

Oh and as for puncuation. I usualy am an anarchist when it comes to that I like it sloppy and disorgnized. ;) Especially if its not an official report or email.

Im sloppy, disorganized, ridiculous, sick sense of humour, free to be me

    and…

    I Love me!
