If you read the agreement, it states that they can use your video for whatever they like (including advertising.) Can you imagine if they used your baby in a commercial and all you got was a free pack of diapers? Like all deals, approach with caution :)

Has anyone used these? Having worked with many children who use the tabless (non-velcro sided) pull-ups, I’m not I’d be happy putting having to pull off shoes and socks to put these on.

I bought a pack of these a few days ago. The sides are together like a pull up, but there are Velcro tabs if you need to put it back together due to a false alarm. However, I will not buy them again. They are low ing the back and her bum crack hangs out, and they are made out of the regula Huggins material, which I find crunchy and stiff.

Another blogger wrote that even though the first 1000 uploaded videos will receive diapers, you can still upload your video, but you won’t receive diapers. Not sure if this is true, but something to think about before you go through the effort/trouble.

Toddlers & Tiaras anyone — really, just to get a free pack of diapers?

  6. kendra

i only got these diapers because they were free, and they suck! by the time my squirmy daughter gets one leg in there the cheap tab ripped so i have ruined many of these diapers!

I was not impressed by these either, they were hard if not harder than tab diapers to get on and rip at the sides really easily, and I did not find them as absorbant either.

I won’t be uploading a photo of my child for a package of diapers. Imagine how many creeps surf youtube.

I agree with all the comments above. It’s huggies way of cheaping out on paying to get cute advertising. They can use your childs video for anything and all you get are the diapers which suck! Just like their rewards website…omg possibly the worst website I have ever been on, stupid pop ups, marketing questions and games that would bore my toddler! Enough of the rant…buy pampers (with your coupons of course)at least they don’t leak everywhere.

Sorry, but I wouldn’t ever post a photo or video over the internet so strangers can view him — privacy for him & also agree about the creeps & probably pedophiles out there. I do find the slip-on diapers convenient for him to use as an emergency when he’s out & about. I would use them if we were in a dirty washroom, where there’s no place to change him & I’ve had to use them after we went swimming as it just wasn’t convenient to put him down in the changing rooms as most of the time these rooms are kind of dirty. I just put layers of paper towels on the ground and strip down his shoes & pants, have him stand on the paper while I clean him & then qucikly slip them on, put his clothes back on & away we go. DS is now 32 mths old & I’ve been using them for the last 4 or 5 mths and have used just over a pkg & may consider using these as pull-ups if I have to. I haven’t had to worry as he’s very thin around the waste & is still only a size 4 in both the Huggies & Pampers.

I also agree-free diapers are not worth putting my baby out there for all to see…

I also find this creepy to have a video (or photos) of my child out there somewhere, and the company has total control on how they use it. If they want cute babies for advertising, let them pay for it.

@Saving Moola: Why don’t you change them standing up, if you’re in a dirty washroom? Slip the diaper between the legs and pull up. Match the tabs. Changing a poopy diaper isn’t quite as much fun standing, but it can work. :)

Alyssa. I do change him standing up if he’s in a dirty washroom & have found the slip-ons very convenient. DS is a very squirmy kid when he’s lying down & it seems that he’s ok with the slip-ons. I’m quite thankful as he usually only poops @ home early in the am & just before dinner time. I will give the pull-ups a try when I start potty training in the spring. He hates wearing diapers as it is & likes to take them off @ home & sits on the heat register to warm his tush. However, I won’t start the potty training as we go to Whistler quite a bit & he’s always in a snowuit, so by the time we find a washroom & take the snowsuit & pants off, he would’ve made a mess. Thanks for the suggestion on the tabs. Changing a poopy diaper at any time isn’t fun. LOL!

I’m not going to post a video, but I do like these diapers. My daughter is pull-ups age and only wears them to bed. We like these because they work the same way as pull-ups with the tear away sides and my daughter loves Tigger. They are less expensive than pull-ups and do the same job. I am a sworn pampers mom, but huggies/pullups have the side velcro which makes it the winner in this case.
