Husky and Mohawk have a new printable coupon to help save you some money on your Canada Day long weekend travels.  You can save $3 on a fuel purchase of at least 25L.  I know a lot of us travel for the long weekend to go camping or to see family so this coupon could come in handy.  I’m going to be printing a few for the weekend.  We should be filling up twice for sure.  The coupon is valid from now until July 4th.

Click here to print your coupon.

Thanks to candygal for finding this coupon for us.

Keep in mind, gas in Ontario will be subject to HST as of tomorrow so it’s going to go up by about 8 cents tonight! Happy Canada Day everyone! :S

forgot about this coupon, and used the $2 one yesterday. Not happy that gas in my town spiked up 10 cents more on Canada Day, and I bet it’ll stay high until Tuesday.

read the post above Barb, thats why gas jumped, don’t expect it to go back down after the holiday weekend.

Don’t you guys get your gas at Co-Op? It is awesome getting a big check at the end of the year. Why would you want to gas up anywhere else!

Ethanol has lower btu output than gas. It can wreck fuel system components when used in gas with more than 10%. It absorbs water which can rust out the fuel system. It can clog up fuel filters, which some are inside the gas tanks and that would be expensive. When all is said and done you’re burning the same volume of gas + the ethanol which makes your gas mileage worse. I ran this stuff for two years and then got a bad tank. I now only run Shell Gold/VPower. I have a 2005 Malibu LS w/ 3.5L.

    good luck people
