what gas stations will accept these? anyone know specifics?
This was in my co op flyer this week so at least co op gas stations will be accepting them.
Actually any store accepts them, I used them at IGA
I tried at Chevron and was refused.
we tried them at 2 gas stations this weekend – the first one didn’t read the back and said that you had to pay for most of the gas and then use the $5 for the remainder. The second time they said that you couldn’t pay for the first bit with a credit card – it had to be cash or debit. I think if we try again we’ll be filling up in $5 increments just so we can use them all – apparently you can’t use them all at once either.
Yes these cards are pretty frustrating but if you call the 1-800 # behind the card, she could confirm if it is activated and the best thing is to buy on 5$ of gas at a time.
