Kid looks like she had a bit too many of them, or just slightly posessed. Too bad the opening is on a Saturday.

    Have a good weekend.

  2. Christine says:

That little girl on the cover of the box? Creepy!

  5. Timmies Lover says:

I laugh at this as Krispy Kreme flopped out here in the West! Ours shut down about a year ago…and a Timmies moved in… Now when you drive by there is always car in the drive thru and the lot is full… Goes to show that Canadian is best.

  6. Josie says:

Didn’t all the Krispy Kremes close down in Toronto? I remember the one in the Scarborough Town Centre parking lot didn’t last long and they turned it into Swiss Chalet! Mmmmm kinda miss their donuts though.

  7. serenebean says:

Oh my gosh that kid is frightening!

I think the last time I had one of these donuts is when they sold them for a fundraiser when I was in elementary school. It’s been a while… lol.

Krispy K. was my all time fave and i never liked doughnuts whats worse is now there isint a single k.K store in calgary

  16. Sarry says:

@ M – No use talking to those zombie Timmy lovers. Seems there is definitly something in their coffee that makes them give up their first born for a double-double. I’m surrounded at work with these zombies. “I can’t get started without my timmies.” “Need timmies.” “Hey who wants to go for timmies?” “I have my timmies.” “Oh we have a meeting, do I have time to go for a timmies?” I do notice that those in our office that have high IQs aren’t affected by the brainf*#& that Timmies has on the weaker minded grunts. I’m just saying. You make your own conclusions.

  17. mhk says:

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE Krispy Kreme’s plain glazed donuts. Whenever we went to Calgary (from Edmonton) we would make sure we made a trip to Krispy Kreme. Then they closed down. Sometimes we even went to Gasolene Alley in Red Deer to get the Krispy Kremes from the Petro Can or Esso gas station ha ha. I don’t think there was ever a Krispy Kreme opened in Edmonton.

Their donuts are much more superior that the frozen dough donuts that Tim Horton’s sells – IMO of course. And truth me told, I prefer McD coffee to Tim Hortons (especially now that its free until Nov 28!!)

  18. lostjuan says:

I didn’t mind their donuts. I like robins too, in fact they have a better selection and quality of donuts than tims, but alas tim’s just eats them alive here in Alta. It sure would be nice to have a choice.

  19. willowsprite says:

    Ummmm….. WHOLESOME GOODNESS?!

lol @Sarry I agree. Every time I drive by one, I just shake my head at the cars sitting there wrapped around the drive through. Then I take a sip of my home brewed coffee out of my reusable mug. Coffee which costs a few cents as opposed to a few bucks and tastes ten times better.

  20. Sandra says:

How many thumbs does that woman’s hand have in this pic? Maybe it’s why the kid is freaked out…

Timmies Lover > …Tim Hortons isn’t Canadian anymore.

    **********************************************************

@ M ..check their website ..Timmies in no longer a US company , they are no longer owned by Wendys …so Timmies Lover is right ..TH is a Canadian company once again after briefly being in American hands with the Wendys/TH merger back in 1995 🙂

    http://www.timhortons.com/ca/en/about/faq.html

    Corporate Information

Is Tim Hortons a U.S company?

Tim Hortons is no longer owned by Wendy’s and is a stand-alone public company trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange. Tim Hortons corporate head office is in Oakville, Ontario, Canada.

  22. Victor the Crab says:

    @ Timmies Lover,

Krispy Kreme dougnuts were far superior to Tim Horton’s doughnuts because they were made on the spot, while Tim’s were flash frozen in a factory in Brampton and shipped out to their many stores. Doughnuts are far below Tim’s pecking order today.

  23. Ciel says:

Only Tim Horton’s special donuts seems like any big deal. The other kinds of donuts have suffered size shrinkage and price increases, also with flavour deflation.

Krispy Kreme in Toronto-how busy was the shop on opening day? When the Mississauga shop opened years ago, it was packed for a long time per news reports.
