Lays Chips Trips Canada Fun New Point Redemption Program. HOT!

lays_chips

This is really neat! Lays has a redemption program where you collect points to redeem for items. For example 2 large bags (30 points) will get you a $5 Subway gift card! Theres also a ton of BOGO offers for activities, hotels etc. I’m not exactly sure when this program launched but its the first time I’ve seen it.

We’ve got your trips in the bag.

With Lay’s® Chip Trips, you can save on a whole season full of fun day trips. How? Simply purchase Lay’s® chips, submit the points online, and redeem them for savings on the perfect local getaway. Escape and enjoy for less!

Click here to check out the site and other redemption offers.

Thanks so much Tjthemanto for posting this in Deals and Flyers

Looks great!! They have Celtic Colours tickets BOGO coupons for only 50 points!! Some of the venue tickets cost $100 so this is a great deal for just the price of a few bags of chips!! Thanks for posting I will have to keep my eyes peeled for the bags now!!

its called moderation.. but thanks tips!

  14. jacko says:

MODERATION does not cost the health care system $147 billion (not million..BILLION) in the USA and $4.3 BILLION in Canada.

In Australia, you’re better off Smoking than being Obese as Obesity is the leading cause of premature death.

With other countries, it will overtake smoking in the not too distant future.

I wonder if they’ll ban eating in restaurants as they have with smoking??

I just bought some “double points” medium bags(20 pts each), I don’t eat chips much but this is a great deal for Subway GCs…. I can’t register after putting in my address though, I hope it gets fixed.

  19. jodew71 says:

I found I had to ‘tab’ through the boxes to be able to register but when I got to the bottom I wasn’t able to put a check mark to accept the rules. Once I got that figured out I still can’t get it to accept it – I get an “error on page” message and it won’t go any further. 🙁

  20. The_Scarecrow says:

I FINALLY got registered but found out “only one $5 gift card per registered account” and I already added my pts…. i’m happy I got one card but otherwise I am extremely unhappy about the site and about this program in general.

  21. garysmom says:

I’m not sure why you’re unhappy with the program in general. Lays used to come with nothing attached. Now they come with the chance to get discounts at local attractions. You can choose to buy them and be rewarded, or not participate. What’s not to be happy about? They’re not obligated to offer anything in addition to the chips!

  22. The_Scarecrow says:

The site has had problems for over a week, I finally get in and bank all my pts and find out after that I can only get one Subway card. And the other deals you can redeem pts for are nothing better than what I find in mail on a weekly basis. Im just very unhappy that I don’t normally buy chips at all and then I buy all these bags of chips for the main purpose to get Subway cards….. it’s my fault to buy the bags before I got in and found out more about the program.

  23. The_Scarecrow says:

….or I could have given the pts to other people and they would have got Subway cards

  24. garysmom says:

Okay, I get it now…and I feel your pain. I too am frustrated when I buy things strictly because I’ve heard of a program, but it turns out to be different than what I expected. Sorry to hear that’s what happened!

  25. kristin says:

booo i have the same prob!! i got one subway card and now its saying i reached my limit. i so wish i knew this before i entered my points! i would have used another account and address so i could get 2 🙁 i heard people saying they got two cards so i thought it was ok.

  26. snoozegirl says:

Just got my subway card in the mail today! 🙂
