MAC Cosmetics/Estee Lauder is having another warehouse sale, these occur every 4 months (March, June, September and December), this time it’s June 4-6, 2010. Smartcanucks does not have access to tickets, I am just posting this for information purposes to let people know when and where it is. You can get tickets if you know a MAC makeup artist or Estee Lauder brand employee, since that is who these tickets are available to.

These events are very popular and are filled with awesome sales on make up products, tickets go fast. Some examples of the sales include: lip products 2 for $10, eyeshadows/pigments $9, face powders $10 and foundations $12. You can buy tickets from sellers on sites like ebay, kijiji and craiglists too, if you want to go that route.
Smart Canucks, you’re such a tease to announce these sales that commoners don’t have access to! 😉 BOO…
I wish BC had a MAC warehouse sale!! 🙁 I guess for some it almost makes up for Ontario not having a LD.
@Stephania – you should see all the people asking for tics on craigslist and the works. I love MAC and have never been to these sales, but I stay away on purpose. 😉

@justine – some people on craigslist and kijiji are selling these tickets at ridiculous prices ! i contacted someone recently and she wanted $40 for friday tickets and $25 for sunday… :O ! I got my other ones for $15 to 25 only ! These people are so desperate for money that they are getting for FREE.

@ bargain-hunter-lola: tickets are a different colour for each day of the sale (in this case: friday is hot pink, saturday is neon yellow and sunday is dark purple/blue), they feature the EL validation seal, as well as a number, and a label (name) for whom the ticket was given to, example would be the employee name or a business.

There are different tables in a large room, and each section holds different products. IE one section will be eyeshadows,paint pots, pigments, the other will be gift sets, perfume, etc. You write what you want on a piece of paper and give it to the worker who’s there at the table. There will be like 5 people or something like that, and they’ll give it to you in a bag and you go on to the next section 🙂
It’s smart to bring kleenex and a pen, since there is only one pen on each table with swatches and everyone fights for it. Also, kleenex run out quickly

@lovebird403 – for a 13 year old, you should not even be buying nor using MAC and any other high-end brand, you should rather shop at walmart for NYC or Wet & Wild or the dollar store… no one cares if you’re going. Oh and by the way, in case you don’t know and don’t read the rules on the ticket, CHILDREN LIKE YOU UNDER 16 are NOT PERMITTED to this sale… So I don’t even know why you’re bragging about being able to GO LOLOL.

@lovebird403: Actually I was there Friday and am nowhere near in need of wrinkle cream. In any case, it really doesn’t make much sense for you to ‘make fun’ of people who do “need” wrinkle cream, as the only way for anyone to avoid the aging process is to die young. You will be there as well one day and that ageist attitude you are using against people now will one day be used against you.
And being 13 is no excuse for acting obnoxious. If you have a ticket and are able to go, good for you. But for the record, when you boast about it, people don’t become jealous and start to wish they were you. You only irritate people and make yourself seem lame.
