M&M Meat Shops Charity BBQ Day on May 8, 2010

On Sat­ur­day, May 8, 2010, M&M Meat Shops is hold­ing their 22nd annual Char­ity BBQ Day to help sup­port the Crohn’s and Col­i­tis Foun­da­tion of Canada (CCFC). The event runs form 10 AM — 4 PM at all M&M Meat Shop loca­tions all over Canada. Vol­un­teer, donate, or come out and show your sup­port! Receive a ham­burger or hot dog, a drink, and a bag of chips for a min­i­mum dona­tion of only $2.50.

Also, from April 9th until May 9th, pur­chase and sign a Char­ity BBQ Day star at any M&M Meat Shops loca­tion for a min­i­mum $2 dona­tion for the CCFC.

    I knew of 1 M&M here in Fred­er­ic­ton, but didn’t real­ize there was one on Brook­side as well, sweet.

    Does any­one know if they will be serv­ing veg­gie dogs or veg­gie burg­ers?
    If they do have it, I might stop by for lunch!!

    anon. From what of seen of these kinds of fundrais­ers (espe­cially in big cities) is that they do have some veg­gie items avail­able. Although from a “Meat Shop” I can’t be cer­tain. The best idea is to give them a call or stop by and ask them your­self. Per­haps they would be so kind as to accom­mo­date you.

    I believe most of the stores just do the Tasty Burg­ers and Big Red’s for hot­dogs but since each store is indi­vid­u­ally fran­chised your best bet would be to call the store in your area and see what they say.
