Microsoft Canada is currently offering eligible students free downloads of Microsoft Office 365 plus 1TB of OneDrive Storage! This is a great opportunity for students to offset some of their school related costs on essentials that they need to finish their assignments! If your school has signed up for Microsoft’s subscription service, both its students and faculty can get access to the newest versions of Microsoft programs for free. With your Office 365 download, you’ll get access to Microsoft programs such as Office, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, as well as Access and Publisher. Once you sign up with your valid school email and download, you will be able to install these programs on up to five computers and  five phones or tablets. An account will also come with Office Online and, as a bonus, you receive 1TB of OneDrive storage that will let you upload anything you need without fear of running out of space. Many schools have signed up for this service, so you can visit this website and enter your school email to check if you’re able to get this free download.  Faculty members will also be able to take advantage of this deal if their school has signed up.

Your school may place restrictions on each download that will vary, so be sure to check. For some schools, the program will be a free lifetime download, but some individual schools are limiting your license to the duration of your school year or course. If you’ve already graduated, you might still be able to download this program if you still have access to your school email address. If you can get access to this free download, it’s worth it! I’ve been constantly using newest version of Word since downloading in February and it’s great! It makes writing and editing so much easier!
