Microsoft Canada currently has a hot deal on right now! As preparation for the upcoming release of Windows 10, Microsoft is offering current Windows users the opportunity to reserve their free download for Windows 10 once it’s released! This download allows you to reserve a free download of the full Windows 10 OS once Microsoft is ready to release it.
If you’re currently using Windows, you may notice this logo has popped up on your taskbar. Click on it and you can begin reserving your free copy of Windows 10 once it’s available.
Once this window pops up, simply click “reserve your free upgrade” to get your freebie. Windows 10 isn’t available for download yet, so you are simply reserving a free copy. Once it’s released, you’ll receive a notification once Windows 10 is able to be downloaded to your device. This isn’t a trial version, Microsoft is giving you the full version absolutely free!
If you’re like me, and skipped out on downloading Windows 8, don’t worry, this icon is showing up for Windows 7 users as well. You’ll need to reserve at least 3GB of space on your hard drive for this download once it’s ready.

You didn’t really miss anything by not downloading Windows 8. It was from the start and remains a very buggy OS. A lot of people really missed the Start Menu, but I actually loved the new Start Screen. I have read that Windows 10 also is buggy but hopefully they will clean it up before the release date.
@Jan Windows 8 were buggy?
