Mother’s Day Gift Ideas: Full Bloom Tea

That’s right boys and girls, Mother’s Day is right around the corner. Sunday May 13th to be exact. But instead of forgetting all about it and rushing to the mall on the way to your Mom’s this year, we here at SmartCanucks are giving you a bit of a heads up — and a great gift suggestion too!

Full Bloom Tea is a really original product that would make a perfect gift for that first special lady in your life. Everybody loves tea right? How about flowers? Well Full Bloom Tea is both gifts all rolled into one. When you add boiled water, the tea grows before your very eyes into a snappy little bouquet. It’s not only for Mother’s Day, either. Full Bloom Tea has honestly replaced flowers as my “I need to send flowers” gift. It’s just too neat of a product not to gift. Who wouldn’t love a tea that turns into a plant?

Full Bloom has a number of Mother’s Day specials on right now, all of which include the glass teapot so you can watch the bloom as it grows. They start at $29.99 USD, but don’t let the currency fool you — they ship worldwide. If you’re just interested for yourself, they offer free samples. They charge $2 for shipping on the free samples, but they also provide you with coupons for your next order that more than make up for it.

Awesome Boo! Just as a note since this is white tea.. you would not actually want to use *boiling* water on it… let it stop boiling first (same goes for greens).. sometimes the instructions can be wrong and you end up wrecking your tea! I had a friend who was convinced she hated green tea.. always grassy or bitter… now that she is making it right she loves it! (whites you can steep for a while, greens generally no more than 2 minutes).

This is a great product, very cute. I had a couple problems with the company though, first they don’t include any coupons like they advertise they do. Also, I was charged $4 for shipping, and my sample too quite a while to show up. They just send it regular mail, and the shipping price ( 90 cents) was printed right on the envelope. For $4 I’d expect faster shipping :(

I can’t access their website any more and all emails to their customer care keep bouncing back. I’m a little concerned that I used my credit card with them to pay the postage on the free sample, beginning to look like a scam.…

  5. Mystic Meadows

I also have not received my samples and at the time of this posting I ordered over a month ago. I can access the website but my calls and emails have gone unanswered. Yup, beginning to look like a scam…

Yup. I actually ordered a teaset for them and it never arrived. They refuse to answer my emails so I think they are just out to rip people off. This doesn’t look like an isolated incident so DON’T BUY ANYTHING FROM FULLBLOOMTEA.COM!

  9. Catie

I ordered from ashtongreen.com and received the order within a few DAYS! The teas are lovely and came with good instructions. I’ll order from them again for sure.

Definitely not an isolated incident! I ordered from them several months ago and never received my items. They will not respond to phone queries or emails. I am so frustrated and disappointed. I am filing a “fraudulent charge” report with my credit card company!

I ALSO SENT FOR 3 TEASETS FOR GIFTS FROM FULLBLOOMTEA AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED THEM.I ALSO WILL FILE FOR FRAUDULENT CHARGES WITH MY CREDIT CARD PEOPLE.LILY THIRSK

I ordered from them almost 2 months ago, and I STILL have not received my order. My cc was charged right away, of course, and after the first e-mail I sent to them because I ordered a tea card to be sent to someone else and was not given a space to enter their address (when the guy claimed they e-mailed me already and that I must have done something wrong like deleted it), i have not heard from them. I have emailed them like 6 times now, and I called their offices twice. No answer, nothing. Very bad business, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME.

  13. Princessroz

I placed an Order with fullbloomtea.com and they never sent the order or responded to emails. There phone number is now disconnected. Buyers beware, they stole my money! Poor business!

I am the owner of Canada’s RedUmbrella Tea and we sell Primula Tea, full blooming tea. You are welcome to stop by at any time. I don’t know of any other companies that carry it in Canada other than a few box retailers.
