Drooooool…
sandy bridge processor…
yay. More apple crap
and to think I was going to upgrade to a PC with USB3.….now they release Thunderbolt
Thank you, Eric, for the Apple assessment which lacks any substantive criteria whatsoever. As an (obvious) Apple user, I have nothing but rave reviews — based, I might add, on customer service, intuitive programs, a platform which isn’t constantly crashing, and security which isn’t an invitation to hackers and bugs. Apple also helped me to express myself in a meaningful way using complete sentences. Yay. For those considering the purchase, Apple often has a “Free iPod” promotion that runs once or twice a year — usually around the time that school starts. I would also suggest ordering from Apple itself as this allows you to build your own system rather than getting whatever Future Shop has ordered.
I LOVE MAC!!! Using an IMac right now and we’re saving for a Macbook pro. After owning a Mac in college and hubby owning a PC, we have experience with both. My Mac lasted in perfect condition for 7 years (the the hard drived burned out from use) with not a single problem. We got rid of his after 2 years and 3 times of re-formatting the computer due to viruses that got past our virus scanner and having to replace the CD/DVD player. But, to each their own. My parents use only PC because its more affordable for them.….but they would love to get Macs
Love all my Apple stuff.
I second Ruby’s comments about ordering directly from Apple. Much more knowledgeable than the kids they have working at our local FS and BB.
We switched over to Mac’s for our office and home this past year and couldn’t be happier. Not one single crash this year. We are waiting patiently for a Imac refresh to add to our collection.
i just got my macbook pro last year and they come out with a new one .. i hate it when that happens!!
I was a strictly PC user for the last 10 years before my husband bought me my MacBook Air for Xmas. Was intimidated by the different OS at first but we are totally converted to Apple. Everything is so user friendly and streamlined –amazing!
More apple crap is right! whats so good about apple anyways? yes happy_me24@hotmail.com is correct, the do last, but you can get a even longer lasting– better PC with the same cost. There are also some mac viruses out there, since macs are so popular nowadays. Also, what does the shiny paint on the macs do? IT MAKES YOU LOOK LIKE A LITTLE KID.
Why pre-order? I bought my 13″ i7 Thursday afternoon at the Eaton Centre Apple Store and they had plenty of stock.
Oh, Alan …
“Whats” (sic) should be capitalized.
“Whats” (sic) needs an apostrophe. It’s called a conjunction — a joining of “what” and “is.“
“They” has a ‘y’ at the end.
“Lasting” should have a comma after it, not a dash.
“Mac” is capitalized. Its a proper noun. I mean, it’s a proper noun.
I’ll stop there.
Shiny paint on the Macs MAKES YOU LOOK LIKE A LITTLE KID?
I’m quite sure that butchering the English language has a similar effect.
Wuz wif correctinng, gramhair?
Just ignore the Mac spamming trolls. Their PC spell check has probably failed. Think they can spell jealous?
LOL, any Apple or Mac post is guaranteed to bring out both the Mac haters and Mac fanboys/fangirls alike. –_– Geez.
Not into Macs (like my Windows 7 more, costs less and I love it) but I’m into Apple products in general…they look great and work great (like my iPhone
)- while I’m not going to buy one an iMac anytime soon (a big need, not want, for me) it’s exciting to hear about product updates anyway.
What I’m not sure on is whether this is front page worthy at SC… maybe the part about refurbished Macs, perhaps. Clearer picture, non-sticking mouse, and a decent battery life should come with most laptops nowadays, no? What exactly is that comparison for?? A computer from 2005?? –_–
apple is the bomb and when i comes to mac i leave a cloud that says GIVE ME THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BOOM
