Posted by & filed under Canadian Deals & Coupons.

Omni-Directional Antenna CanadaThis 53cm (21″) Omnidirectional TV Antenna is on clearance at the Source for $9.96 (regular price $90.03). This product is not available online but is still available at many The Source stores for pick up.

If you live near the US border you should be able to pickup US channels in HD as well as the basic Canadian ones ;-)

Keep in mind that this spaceship like device is half a metre wide!  Pretty big for an Antenna!

its an antennae, you hook to your tv or vcr or some dvd and it picks up air waves / signals!

    hya, don’t spread FUD…

You can still use an antenna, the only difference now is that the digital channel are ATSC and you need a tv that’s new enough *or* a separate decoder…

Most digital channels are now transmitted in UHF (channel 14 and above) now though so you need an antenna that can get them (this one does), some older antennas were VHF (13 and below) and this will severely limit the # of channels you can get…

One word of warning though, from what I read this antenna might not be that good…

Oops, I meant to say that some older antenna were VHF *only*, to get digital channels you need, preferable, an antenna that’s UHF and VHF…

So if I have an older TV will it bring in any channels? I don’t care about HD channels.?

Yup it will Michael, mine was hooked to a used Olympic tv set (used for the games)1986 … not the latest olympics Michael
