It is difficult enough as it is to read the flyer information. Marking them up with watermarks and childish scrawling is ridiculous. Get a grip. You are taking photos of grocery flyers not curing cancer. The accusations of theft are rich.

    • Miss Splendid says:

      Hi Ken,
Yes, we are obviously not curing cancer; however, we (the SmartCanucks Team) put in a lot of work and effort to provide our readers with an early sneak peak of the flyers as this helps many people save money and find good deals. The watermark and such is our style.

      • Ken says:

Appreciate that it takes time and effort to do this which is why it is inexplicable that you would then mark up the flyers so as to make them difficult to read.

    • cyn88canada says:

Okay. Don’t read the flyers. It’s not like someone is forcing you to.

  2. Shwa Girl says:

Thanks to cyn88canada, sweetmomma and couponlady for this week’s flyers.

Ken, do you know the thiefs? Hmmmm?

    • Ken says:

No idea who the “thieves” are and don’the care that someone is re-posting the flyer photographs. Just want to be able to read them without the childish sprawling.

  3. cyn88canada says:

What have you contributed, Ken? I’m genuinely curious. I don’t read the blog that often, so I don’t know if you’ve commented before. Or, is this the extent of how you’ve shown your appreciation of how much time it takes to post the flyer sneak peaks? Sneering about childish “sprawling” and how the OP (that would be me), needs to get a grip? (BTW, I’d love a cure to cancer. Are you contributing to that? I am.)

Wow. That’s rich. Pretty sure you’re not going to see an improvement is that’s how you effect change.

It’s pretty obvious why the childish scrawling is there. If you had any reading comprehension, you’d understand that. Oh, wait, I just read that you DO realize other sites are reposting the images…so it’s not inexplicable. You just don’t care. The only thing that matters to you is that your ability to benefit is hindered.

I mean, I assume you’re deriving some benefit from looking at the flyer sneak peaks. Well, it’s certainly your/(anyone’s) prerogative to sit there and complain, or gripe, and contribute nothing. Or something. No one forces you to read, or be gracious about a free benefit. And, if it’s not a benefit, why even bother looking?

But, if all you want is clean flyer images, and it’s so onerous to read the watermarked sneak peaks full of childish scrawl, then Ontario stores usually have their own versions up on their websites by Thursday. Stick to those and you should be very happy.

If you continue to read flyer sneak peaks, here’s a tip: Keep your focus on the bigger picture –it’s easier to read what’s in front of you.

Cheers! And, have a nice day.
