Loblaw Companies Limited has issued a voluntary recall of the Joe Fresh Boys Swimsuits as there is a potential injury hazard due to skin getting caught in the mesh lining. Although Health Canada hasn’t received any reports of injuries, Loblaws has received five reports in Canada of children’s skin being caught.

These boys swimsuits have been in the market for quite a long time, since November 2013; they have just been removed last month in April, 2016. As a popular summer purchase, approximately 385,000 swimsuits were sold. There are more than 60 different styles that have been on the market; for a full list visit the Healthy Canadians website.

If you realize that you have purchased one of these boys swimsuits, you’re advised to simply return the item to any Loblaw banner store where Joe Fresh is sold to receive a refund. Don’t worry about no having a receipt as the refund is given automatically.
