Sasquatch Sightings in Ontario

Northern Ontario’s a big, empty place — unless of course you’re a tree.  If you’re a tree, you’ve got all the friends in the world.  But I digress.  We’re not trees.  Trees don’t have the internet or RSS readers (though they should probably be grateful to both — think of how much paper we’ve saved!)

That’s why, even though the whole idea of Bigfoot is far fetched, the possibility of a Sasquatch in Northern Ontario isn’t completely out of the realm of possibility.  After all — people treated giant squids with the same skepticism until we found one.

Anybody here ever have sighting?

Yeah, I’ve seen one…at every family reunion. LOL!!

Seriously, what a wuss…why didn’t he go check so we could see some proof? :)

All I see is “This video was embedded using the YouTuber plugin by Roy Tanck. Adobe Flash Player is required to view the video.”, but at the same time.. I’ve got YouTube open in another tab working fine. >.<

@Lazy — it’s a Firefox 3 issue. YouTube will work when embedded in some places, but not in others. I can’t see anything on my PC, but on my Mac it’s still fine. Weirdness, I know. I think it has something to do with Firefox 3 and the Flash Player being wonky together.

It’s a bit far fetch to link rock and log throwing as evidence of sasquatch existence. If he and others can reach the place, so can others. There’s more human than sasquatch. I go with human.

I thought I saw a sasquatch in northern Ontario once. Turns out it was just a tall, burly tree planter who hadn’t shaved in several days.

While in Alaska (1960–69) I lived 3 years with a native woman named Sandra who told me the following story one night when we were drinking Ole (Olympia Beer): one summer day, back in Lake Iliamna my parents went off to visit friends and left me alone. I was playing on the floor with my Dolly and the door was open. It was a warm day and I was in the sunshine. Suddenly it got dark and something stank, badly — worse than skunk. I looked up and something was in the doorway, big and hairy and I could hear it breathing. I was scared. It just stood there, looking at me. Then there was a whistling outside and it turned and ran off. Later my parents came back and told me the “hairy men” had paid the village a visit, looking for garbage to eat. “They won’t hurt us if we don’t hurt them”, Mother said.

I myself and my husband believe in sasquatches.…mainly because his grandpa and great grandpa were loggers in the remote BC wilderness and have spoken of an incident one night that cannot be explained (long story) other than it could possibly be a Sasquatch…
I also belive there could be other life out there than humans.…

I’ve seen one while my dad was driving me home from Corunna,Ontario,Canada on the way back to my apartment in Sarnia,Ontario,Canada.

I saw it in the edge of the woods on the first nation reserve.

When I saw it I said:

    Holy Shit!!! It’s a Bigfoot

Ryan — There are no bigfoot in the Sarnia area, there’s barely any woods there.

I’m into my fourth year of research in Ontario after an incident several years back involving two witnesses and at least a pair of sasquatch. Close vocalizations, chest thumps and a limb break were heard. The voice of this creature is undeniable up close. It will change your life, thus the reason being why I’m now into my fourth year.

There’s been several instances since with a second close vocal encounter a year after the first.
This species is very real. The day is coming when the truth will be revealed. We’re dealing with an intelligent species that does not want to be seen and they’re obviously masters at it.
With 50,000+ documented sightings plus countless prints (some with dermal ridges), hair samples, etc. It’s just a matter of time.

Keep your eyes on the Ketchum report soon to be published.
Laugh and ridicule all you like but the ones that are involved and have had experiences are well aware of their existence.
I’ve learned things about these creatures that most could never accept. One being proximity. You have no idea.

An encounter will change your life. It did mine and now I spend my free time chasing after that next incident. They’re much more common than you might think.

Persistence is key when searching for these magnificent creatures. It’s the only way one will experience them. Persistence, diligence and a little bit of luck.
