The Sharp Plas­maclus­ter Ion Air Puri­fier (FPP40CX) is on sale at Future Shop for $179.99 (reg­u­lar price $299.99). A pretty good deal on this air puri­fier although I have seen it go for as low as $149.99 in the past. But if you need one nowa­days I’d go for it. The fil­ter lasts for about 5 years after which you’d need to replace it for approx­i­mately $150.

   I bought one because with the ac run­ning all the time and the win­dows closed i found my apt a bit musty but since ive been using it that musty smell has gone away. Could just be in my head too but any­way its fine with me
