It’s that time again! Shoppers Drug Mart’s highly anticipated Bonus Redemption Weekend is almost upon us. I know a few hundred SC’ers that have been looking forward to this since the last one in November. Lots of coupons will be expiring on March 31, 2010 so this event comes at a fantastic time. I love reading the “Brag” forum after one of these redemption weekends. Free stuff? YES PLEASE!

Click here to view this weekend’s flyer courtesy of BOO111 (Thanks so much!)

Thanks to addy21 for the super early heads up!

OOOHHH YAAAYY …now what to buy???Maybe I will spoil myself this time…afterall I deserve it …it’s alot of hard work racking up all those points. The planning ‚the cutting coupons, going over every SDM flyer with a fine tooth comb, the shopping, and of course keeping track of the points…whew! Thanks for the heads up!

I am new to SDM points system, how does this bonus redemption work, thx!

  5. ...

This was a lot more exciting before I found out that BC residents usually only get an extra $10 when you claim at the $75 level.

  6. Ivan

Anybody knows of any SDM that allows the bonus redemption as of the Friday before the bonus weekend? I found something I want that has a price freeze until March 19 … Thanks!

I am also new to SDM points system, how does this bonus redemption work??

  8. Rad

    NEWBIES!!!

Spend 40,000 and get $100, instead of the reg $75 ($25 bonus)

Spend 75,000 and get $200, instead of the reg $150 ($50 bonus)

I agree with everyone about SDM bein overpriced but I just get things that are on sale and the usually milk $3.99 eggs $1.99 and bread $1.99 (these are the cheapest compared to RCSS/Food Basics)

***ps, redemption must be before taxes YES you have to pay tax unless it’s food or baby items then your lucky :p***

Anyone know what camera models Shoppers carries? Or does it depend on location?

  10. Charlene

I was just wondering if there are restrictions on what you can redeem for… I really want to get the Nintendo Wii but have a feeling it will be restricted. Does anyone know?

  11. Justine

@ charlene — no restrictions, but wii’s are hard to get because stores do not get a lot of them in each store, so it’s good to call ahead or go really early to pick it up.

  12. Julie

@Ivan — usually the SDM in Royal Bank Plaza next to Union Station has bonus points and redemption events on the Friday as they are not open on Sundays. hth
