I once had to call corporate to get the points added after a similar event. I had to call a second time a couple of months later when a few items (from behind the counter at the pharmacy) were incorrectly excluded from counting towards the magic $50 on a 20x day. In both instances, the staff at Shopper’s head office were courteous, apologetic, and on the second occurrence, added a few points for my troubles.

Watch your receipts and account balance!

I think from what I read the event is the 17th and the points are put on your account after/on the 20th. I have done this before and it worked fine for me.

at first glance i was stoked…but i keep thinking off all the posts from people not getting the points added on at a later date when using this kind of coupon.
i think i’ll pass!?

The coupons reads the event is January 17th and not January 20th as stated in your blog. Please change the date as there will be confusion. Thank you so much for the blog.
