Shoppers Drug Mart Canada: Your Personalized Offers Can Now Be Loaded To Your Card

blog

If you collect Optimum points from Shoppers Drug Mart Canada, head over to their website to check out these latest changes to the program. Your weekly personalized offers can now be loaded to your card, much like your PC offers, meaning that printing your offers is no longer required! This is where the majority of my printer ink was going, so I for one am very pleased with this change.

When you log in, all of your offers will be displayed, and you will be able to choose which offers you would like to load individually. My personal offer valid today, April the 19th only, which is 20x the points when you spend $75 or more on anything in the store, was also available for me to load.

So, what do you think about these changes?

Not a fan of this set up … you can only get points on limited items … points should be able to be racked up on any product … it takes tooooooo long to save enough points to be able to cash them in!!

I do like the idea. However I guess it will become a bit tedious. We will have to wait and see. Defiantly saves paper which I like! 🙂

Yay! Such great news! Too many times I missed out on using a points offer because I had forgotten to print it out before I’d left my house for the day. I was hoping they’d change that. No more printing!!

Why don’t they automatically load them up to our card regardless if we use them or not?

i hope they make an app similar to the pc points one

So glad they finally did this. Don’t need to lose out because of no printer/printer problems, and it saves paper.

@Becky, not sure what you’re referring to. They haven’t changed the program in any way, just changed the printable email coupons to online

Thrilled! I have never gotten personalized offers, despite reguarly updating & calling. First time I logged in to this new version & had 7 offers. Yay!

    HORRIBLE!!

Now, not only do I need to remember to log into their web site every week and load the offers to my card, I have to WRITE DOWN any offer specifics for when I’m shopping!!

No steps forward. Two steps back.

And what will happen with the Monday, Wednesday, Friday specific offers?

I hate this new way of doing things. Often offers don’t load. Even when loaded I buy product + don’t get points – spend time calling to get points – they don’t want to load points – put me on hold for a VERY long time! Huge hassel. Have to write down all the offers instead of quick printing. Before with coupon if there was problems the clerk could adjust price / points because had coupon – that is written proof of offer. This is awful!! Tried to print coupons and only about half of them print now – all in all TERRIBLE!!!
