Starbucks Canada has a great little kick back offer going on right now that though it is targeted towards their US audience, it can still be used within Canada. When you send a $5 or more gift card using Outlook, you will automatically receive a $5 gift card added to your own account balance.
It should be noted here that the ‘$5’ – both being sent and received – is in US dollars. So when you purchase the $5 gift card, you will buy it at $5 USD (or more) and then when you receive it in your account, it will be $5 USD, which will automatically be converted into Canadian dollars.
To take advantage of this offer, you will have to be an Outlook or Office 365 user and you will have the options of sending your gift card via Outlook 2013, Outlook 2016 or Outlook.com.
This offer will be available until June 30, 2017 or until they have given away 45,000 gifts – whichever deadline comes first.
