I agree Sunnyside1. The last time I went to Swiss Chalet the rolls were so hard I literally couldn’t cut into them with my knife. The food came within seconds after ordering and had obviously been left under a warming lamp for WAY too long (somebody’s cancelled order or just trying to keep ahead of the rush by cooking ahead?). The chicken was so tough and rubbery. Hated to pay for such a poor meal. The only thing they did was give us free dessert, which I don’t think was good enough for an inedible meal.

My guy got the coupon with a meal last night:

(So it isnt’ a free-for-all!)
Given the service I received on my last visit I likely wont be jumping on the offer.

If you have the student price card, or the vip spc card (for non students) you just show it when you make purchases at participating retailers and get savings. Swiss Chalet is one of the participating retailers and offer you a free appetizer with meal purchase.

You can order an spc card online or at participating retailers like shoppers drug mart and zellers. As for the vip one, I think it is only available for a limited time with a lou lou magazine subscription.
