I took my grandchildren to Swiss Chalet on the weekend and they were thrilled to get the Toys R Us coupons but then tremendously disappointed that they couldn't use them unless they or an adult first spent $40 per card at the store. I have no problem with having to spend money in order to save but felt the advertising should have been clearly geared toward adults and not children. Let's face it, it was easy to miss the $40 spending requirement watching the ad on television. The children only saw their free $10 that they could use at a favorite toy store.
