Kinky Curly hair products for my daughter. Please carry them in the Canadian stores. Right now I have to cross the border just to buy shampoo and conditioner. It would be wonderful to be able to buy them locally and a lot of us moms would love this!

    • Jaya says:

You dont have to there is a store in Toronto Called Curl Ambassadors that carry Kinky Curly Products @ 159 Harbord Street. You should check it out! it’s supposedly the only location that’s carries this products in Canada. Hope this helps

    • Najla says:

robyn I tried to message both in Target Canada and walmart to curry those products. However, I need more people to message them as well we need to form a group advocate in order to get this product in Canada.

  2. Christy Martin says:

I am excited to see how Roots fits in at Target. Canadians were very Zellers loyal, even if they didn’t show it in dollars spent. The Zellers fan club feels that Target took them out, forced them out etc. Roots had a line in HBC which is now US owned. I hope Canadians support Roots in Target Canada! Excited!

  3. amy lovell says:

their amazing selection of pants!!! And of course ill be checking out the kiddie stuff as well!

  4. Moi says:

I hope they will carry Isaac Mizrahi’s stuff. He has great little black dresses for under $45 🙂

  5. brittany says:

dose anyone know what there coupon will be like?

  6. moureen says:

    sonia kashuk brushhhh

  7. Lisa says:

I don’t care as long as they are cheap…cheaper then walmart but I have my doubts.

  8. barb says:

we do have cheaper than Wal-Mart…its called the Dollar Store

  9. jim says:

what kinda car supplies you going to have and you need to sponsor a Canadian Race /Team

  10. nisiepie says:

ugh, enough of the zellers whining.

target did not push out zellers.
    zellers was american.
no one was loyal to zellers.
zellers was certainly nver loyal to it’s customers.

    good riddance to bad rubbish.

  11. Rosa says:

I am looking forward to everything about Target as I have never shopped there before. Hoping for a bigger selection of toddler bedding, children’s clothing, Thomas & Friends items. Anything new and unique I will appreciate!

  12. Kerry says:

A tidy store! I have never been a Zellers that didn’t look like it had just suffered from a hurricane. Also, clothing just like the US stores for men, women and children. Cherry coke, at a reasonable price, not the $12 a case that is being charged at a high end candy store. I would really love to see their Gillian and Maley bras, there are great bras with super prices:-)

  13. Caitie - couponclippercaitie says:

I’m looking forawrd to new products and a “new flyer” to look through and match up coupons with (Zellers rarely had any good match ups in it’s “later” days). I hear their grocery items run reasonably priced (comparable to Wal-Mart) and that they allow manufacturer coupons to be used in conjunction with their own store coupons! (Closest Atlantic Canada will ever get to stacking anytime soon!)

  14. Lauren says:

    Please carry Liz Lange maternity!

  15. Lise says:

I lived in Minnesota and shopped Target all the time their prices may not be has low or may be similar as Walmart but for sure better quality and very well organize and clean. Love Target but they are not coming here 🙁

  16. Em says:

I hope they have Jason Wu. Everything he’s done for Target looks really cute and affordable.

  17. Benji says:

I reeeeeally love the Merona clothing line…it fits me like a glove!

  18. tobiwobi says:

Roots is being sold to Target, I think that’s kinda sad. It should have remained Canadian, I thought that’s the whole point of that brand 🙁

  19. melissa says:

I’ve never been impressed with Target in the States, so I don’t have high hopes for “Canadian” Target.
Unless they bring Harajuku Mini to Canada the only thing I’m looking forward to is having a Starbucks within walking distance of my house.

  20. Maria says:

Roots company is NOT being sold to Target it’s their “Limited-edition” line being sold.

  21. Maple says:

I’ve been to a Target store in the US one year ago. The store was very clean and organized, their staff were responsive and knowledgeable. But it’s obviously a result of human efforts, nothing to do with the brand. So when Target officially launches in Canada and hires the same bunch of people previously worked at Zellers…

    • FallenPixels says:

Maple, a lot of the workers from my local Zellers did not make it through Target screening – now they work at Timmies instead…

  22. Tahirah Patel says:

GIADA DE LAURENTIIS COOKWARE!!! OMG, SO EXCITEDD!! I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR IT TO BE OFFERED IN CANADA FOR SOOOOO LONG….OMG, CAN’T WAIT, CAN’T WAIT, CAN’T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  23. Paul Paton says:

Whoa up here, Target is not US owned, it is ultimately owned by a French company.

  24. Paul Paton says:

Any Target Store that I have shopped in the US has been ultra clean and organized.

  25. anon says:

I am kinda of curious to see a “Target” store. I have never been to one in the States. I am hearing different opinions about the store such as prices (some people have said that they have higher prices that Walmart) ,the quality of the merchandise, the layout of the store… Oh well, I guess, I have to wait tol find out.

  26. Heather says:

I wonder if Target Canada will offer online shopping?

  27. Courteney says:

Merona clothing and E.L.F cosmetics!! Also, Archer Farms food! 🙂

  28. Rosie says:

Robyn, if you’re still reading we already have Kinky Curly products in Canada. I buy them in Toronto.

    • Najla says:

@Rosie this product is almost double the price to compare than the states. But which store in Toronto do you shop? Thank you

  29. Haley says:

There is nothing more disappointing than when American chains finally make the move north of the border but do not offer the same merchandise as in the same stores operating in the U.S. There is a reason Canadians will travel across the border to shop at Target: WE LIKE IT THE WAY IT IS-minus firearms and ammunition. I can buy Roots and Roots. “Roots for Target”? Mistake. Curious to see whether Market Pantry Fat Free Half and Half will be carried at Canadian Target Stores.

  30. Shelly says:

@Heather, I was wondering the same thing. I hope they offer online shopping because I know there won’t be a Target any closer than 2 hours from me.

  31. mrsamyweber says:

I’ve heard lots of good things about their own brand of diapers (Up & Up). Would be interested in trying them!

  32. Ciel says:

I’m waiting to see what brands of bathroom accessories will be carried. I’m STILL on a shower curtain quest-love the current one (from Sears Canada several years ago but it has nothing like the curtain at all now) but it’s showing its age. However, the replacement has to be just as whimsical, cheery and in warm tones–struck out in the mall dept. stores and the big box bath places.

  33. Isabelle says:

Oh yes! Their Archer Farms food! Awesome.

  34. Holly says:

I’m from the US anf looking forward to Target. I agree that they should carry the brands we cross the border for, otherwise, what’s the point? That said, follow the link above to see that yes, Merona and Circo and others will be in the stores. And I will certainly check out Nate Berkus’ line! Some prices will be better, some worse. I’m looking forward to more choices for where I shop.

  35. Sally says:

I’ve been to Target in the US and I don’t see what the big deal is. It’s just another big box department store.

  36. jimbob says:

Their Quality of clothing is above, that of, Walmart’s.

  37. cbabs says:

I agree with a previous poster. Please Target bring Kinky Curly to the Canadian stores! Even Shea Moisture. Wouldn’t have to cross the border, or shop at the only Canadian Online store that sells it (for twice as much)!

  38. Renee says:

Another vote for Shea Moisture and Kinky Curly to Canada!!! PLEASE! Honeyfig *cough cough* overprices these products WAY too much and it’s certainly unfair to us Canadian customers…

  39. Rosie says:

Again, I can name at 2 discount places that are not online that sell kinky curly products…if you’re in the Toronto area. We already carry them.

  40. Chantelle says:

Please sell shea moisture products !!!!! That would be the big money maker for all the curly headed girls , thank you please bring that to Canada !!!!

  41. Danielle says:

Oh Noooooo No E.L.F. Cosmetics like all the Targets in United-States?????
I hope so……. Pixie Cosmetics too much expensive!

  42. Sumone... says:

PLEASE bring the Shea Moisture line to Canadian stores!!! PLEASE!!!! PLEASE!!!!

  43. Cyrel says:

PLEASE bring elf cosmetics to canadian targets!

  44. Sara says:

I hope they bring the Shea Moisture brand as well.

  45. Fee says:

    SHEA MOISTURE PRODUCTS!!!!!

    • Najla says:

@sara i am one of those people like you who needs this product” shea moisture” They can only be found in some limited stores in Toronto( in very high price). However they aren’t any else where in Canada. Can we get together as a group of people and to write either target Canada and walmart canada I am sure they will do something about it.

  46. Ella says:

shea moisture would be sooooo great 🙂
