No way, those “duel” cores will be shooting at each other ’till one is dead.
There is definitely an epidemic of stupid (or at least illiteracy) going around. There was a time when copywriters actually had to know English.

Note: I am not someone who shops for computers on a regular basis. There may be better deals around at this point in time. I don’t know as I am not currently in the market for a new laptop. But I will give you my opinion anyway.
“Good” is of course a relative term. If you are looking for a gaming machine, look elsewhere. If you are looking for something with web connectivity that is supremely portable, then these may be the ticket. $400 is a pretty darned good price.
My personal preference would be the HP as I like having a bigger screen. Less RAM but 3GB versus 4GB is not a huge loss for your average computing. It has a faster CPU as well, as you can see from the following chart

I canceled my order. Just check Future Shop where I saw their ad for a Toshiba amd dual core 15inch 4gig 500mb and windows 7 for only $449.… just $50 more and it is brand new where the Toshiba at The Source was a demo model.
What made me put in a order was the netbook for $99. Which is a great deal. I have a netbook and laptop and love taking my netbook everywhere I go… it fits in my purse!!!! Love going into a cafe and asking if they have wifi and getting weird looks until I take out the netbook. I was planning to give the netbook as a gift and getting the laptop to replace my older Acer lappie with only 1gig of ram and windows vista… plus one of the keys came off. I would glue it back since I can’t find locally anywhere that sells those plastic thingies behind the keys. Than I would gift my mom my old lappie…let her use it to surf the net… I want her to get back onto a computer and all.
