Ya know, my husband and I drive truck, and we hit a lot of Tim Hortons along our routes across Canada. Never once have we managed to get anything more than a free coffee or donut. One year we didn’t win a single thing. But the kicker, there has always been someone win something nice from each of the Tim Hortons we do stop at.
I guess our timing was just off.

I feel lucky this year. My goal is one of the top 3 prizes. I won the gift card last year =). I went wild and wasted the $100 on coffee in about 2.5 weeks =( but the card is sure a collectible.
I usually don’t win anything but that’s okay because I go there for the coffee anyways. I don’t like the way other places like Country Style run their promo’s.…sure you technically win something with every cup, but a lot of your “wins” are stuff you’ll never use anyways.…

Last year I was ticked cause when I opened up what i thought was a tea it was acoffee, i sucked it up and drank it anyways because I was already at work. Then i won a $100 TimCard So i wasnt that mad.lol

Well, this is my third DAY in a row and bought my son one, as well…i didn’t win anything, mayhaps he did.…yeah right!!
On the one hand, who wouldn’t want to win a car in a contest… on the other hand, it’s a RAV4, and I don’t think I’m ready to die.
During Roll up the Rim, I find myself quickly drinking my coffee, anticipating a winning cup, only to find that, once again, I am a loser with a full belly of the best coffee in the world. I am one who enjoys and savors every sip, during roll up the rim, I am a coffee guzzling maniac, who at the odd times, hold the winning empty cup of a free donut here and there..I don’t like donuts.:(
As a former employee of Timmys (for 18 monthes) i am going tell all you hopeful Roll Up players that youre chances are extremely slim to win anything more than a free donut/cookie or coffee. In my experience, i had only rewarded coffees and a few donuts/cookies. my coworker on the other hand had a customer win an MP3 player. i think that was the biggest reward for that location at that time. Good luck to all of you wannabe winners but dont have your hopes up too high.
FWI, if you dont already know.…if you bring in your Timmys mug, it saves you 10 cents per visit (10 cents cheaper than a paper cup they give you). Assuming they press the correct key on the till (thermos).
And yes you should still be handed a Roll Up The Rim paper cup as well.
(For you environmentalists, thats a big waste of a paper cup. Not to mention that they have to waste an entirely brand new straw just to stir your coffee if you bring a thermos. )
