Toys R Us Canada is holding a free Lego event! Stop by on Saturday, August 6, 2011 between 12PM — 2PM to build a Lego Jet Plane. The kids can keep what the make and they will receive instructions on how to reassemble it (in case they decide to take it apart — which they will likely do!). There is a maximum of 100 per store and only 50 per express store, so head over early to make sure you get one.

Thank you SO much for posting this! I live in Kingston, ON, and almost never receive all of the flyers that I should be receiving, so I would not have known about this otherwise. My 5 year old is already a Lego addict–this will totally make his weekend! THANK YOU!

We went really early, but didn’t need to at all. There were only a few dozen people (adults included) by the time we left at 12:30. Anyway, it was still worth it. My little guy is super stoked about his new lego!
Thanks for the post! We went 1/2 hour early and when 12:00 came around there were a total of 7 people. I was really surprised. I thought for sure there would be a huge line up to get some lego. The kids had fun and are playing with the lego planes right now. Thanks Toys R us.…
