Supercentre had a coupon. Buy Wii Sports Resort (which comes with 1 Motion Plus) and get another Motion Plus free –> $59.99

I bought Wii MarioKart + Wii Sports Resort and that qualified me for the $30 discount at ToysRUs at Cedarbrae Mall in Scarborough. Could it be the salesperson who is wrong? The cash register calculates it automatically.

I bought both not knowing if it was worth having another Motion Plus accessory, and have 2 weeks to think/research about it.

I found the "fineprint" at Toys'R'Us to be B.S. I tried to pick up a copy of "Wii Sports Resort" - software, with 1 hardware accessory bundled in. Their disclaimer says, "not valid on hardware with bundled software". Basically, it's intended so that you can't buy a Wii system with a free game inside and use the discount. So they denied me the discount. They ticked me off, so I returned it later that day. Also in regards to the Kellogg's offer mentioned above, Future Shop rejected my coupon. I had 2 - one of them worked at Toys'R'Us (for a separate purchase), but Future Shop says "this wasn't meant for our store". While I was p.o.'d at them too, I did end up buying the game there. For any parents looking for "Wii Sports Resort", I highly recommend hunting down the version with TWO "Motion Plus" accessories bundled in. It's a multi-player game, but the original copy only included 1 Motion Plus (which is required to play the game). Note that this version is scarce - Amazon.ca and Amazon.com are both sold out, as are Best Buy and Future Shop online. You can still find it in select Best Buy and Future Shop stores, but I recommend you call first. oh I got a great deal yesterday.

Future Shop was selling Dragon Age for $39.99 this week, so I priced matched it at Toys R Us. I also bought Super Mario Bros. Wii and the total came to $99.98. I got the $30 discount AND I was able to use a $10 Kellogg’s coupon for the wii game.

My grand total was $69.08 for both games and I got a $3.99 gift card from the price matching!
