Google Checkout *is not* available to Canadian merchants or Android app developers.
Beware of fraud when using Google Checkout. I spent days communicating with a Christian MW or GH? He claimed to be Google Checkout Customer Support using what seemed a legitime Google Checkout site, but could keep his name straight. He kept pointing me to wiring monies to a personal bank account of Mr A B an official agent of an affiliated Google Checkout company in Boston. No bank would accept this as a legitimate process for wiring monies. I spent days trying to validate the legitimacy of the transaction, but found not way of contacting Google to do this. Only the potential fraudster maintains contact to get the money. As of now I may have dodged a bullet but without Google’s support who knows. I did waste time and money.
