Also, my grandfather, grandmother, & mother are all type 2 diabetic, & I’m borderline, yet I still won’t shop there.
if you want to do something good for diabetic research, give the money directly to the cause, don’t buy overpriced stuff at a store like VV

And by the way you do know that some of the money they make goes to the Diabetes Association right.….….….. my parents both have diabetes and it is a horrible disease! I don’t mind spending my money there, being green and recycling and finding things I know are a steal:)

I cant justify spending $20 on say a plain black tank top in big name stores when I can find the same thing for $5 at VV.

I was looking at the stuff behind the glass case in my local store (the ‘expensive’ stuff), & there was a Shirley Temple doll there for $500. a quick check on e-bay found hundreds of them for a buy-it-now price of $30

I’ve also seen sweaters with the tags still on them, with a lower original price than the VV price. & 2 pairs of jeans, same brand, same style, same size, same colour, one $10 more (& when I pointed it out to an employee, they tried to fix the price on the cheaper pair to match…)

I would rather buy new, at full price, than give VV one penny.
