Why don’t they advertise this???
It’s strategy. If you think you stumbled upon something unadvertised, you’re more likely to take advantage of it, especially if it seems impromptu and limited. Secondly, if you regularly notice that a store often puts up bargains like these and doesn’t announce them, you’re more likely to visit that store more often just to see if stuff like this is on sale.
Myself, I go to Costco once or twice a week JUST to look for clearance and unadvertised specials in their areas of the store these are normally displayed. Even if those items aren’t what I am interested in, I do usually wind up picking up a few things I normally buy – things I probably could buy elsewhere, but since I’m in Costco at that moment, they get my business.
