I really wish there was a Whole Foods in Durham Region.

I’ve never shopped there before. Can anyone tell me what the Clif bars are priced at?

Where is Whole Foods in Canada?

  4. Amy says:

There are four Whole Foods locations in Vancouver, one in Toronto, one in Oakville, and one opened last year in Mississauga (Square One).

I think they are also opening one up in the Sheppard/Yonge area. It’s not quite Durham region, but closer enough!

  6. Betty says:

London, Ontario is also getting one. At Richmond/Sunningdale.

Just wondering what is so great about this shop?
    sorry maybe it’s a dumb q.

Katsop – not a dumb question. Whole Foods is like a large Superstore/Loblaws or Metro but they carry a lot more specialty brands geared towards healthier lifestyle options. So while most grocery stores will carry some organic products, WF has a huge selection of local/organic greens, seafood and meats etc. They also carry body care products and have a bakery and ready-to-go buffet style stations for food. Of course, there is a price to pay for all these luxury goods…and it’s a steep one. Worth a browse at least if you have the chance.

i love Whole Foods (love shopping there,.. something about the atmosphere there lol) but their stuff is really expensive though – even for the things that can be found elsewhere.

Thanks!!! I love having a Whole Foods in Vancouver. It can be pricey for some things but they do have some good sales and regular deals (two for one take and bake pizzas on Tuesdays). I like having the organic choices available, you can control what goes into your body and reducing chemicals and crap you don’t need is important to me. Lots of great local foods and they also have regular events, such as the one at Thanksgiving where you pay $10, it goes to charity and you get dinner, dessert, snacks! One of the deal sites also recently had a buy $10 voucher to get $20 of stuff at Whole Foods so if you shop around it can be great 🙂

I love Whole Foods. I wish they had one closer to me. When I go to the US it’s one of my favorite grocery to stores to visit (that and Trader Joe’s). They have so many interesting products that I can’t normally find. I’m always willing to pay more for healthy products. Plus, their stores are so clean.
